The space The newly refurbished accommodation is situated mere steps from the vibrant central square of Hebden Bridge and just across the road from the Town Hall where various events and weddings are held. It is a five minute walk to the famous Trades club where high profile music events are a regular occurrence and only a 10 minute walk to the train station with links to all major cities. There is always something happening in Hebden Bridge and the square is THE place to be. Whether it is Street entertainment or an organised event. From the first floor apartment you can view the excitement from the tranquility of your own space and decide whether to join in or cosy up in front of the fireplace with a crackling fire in the wood burning stove. Enjoy entertainment in style with a 65’’ Smart TV offering easy access to all your favourite streaming apps — the ideal setup for movie nights or lazy mornings.” Please note that live TV channels and BBC iPlayer are not available . There is a DVD player with a comprehensive library of DVDs for your entertainment The apartment is accessed from the rear of Royd Villas, through a tall wooden gate at the end of the cobbles . The accommodation is deceptively spacious and is provided over two floors. On the first floor there is a fully fitted kitchen, a spacious dressing room and modern shower room. A large cosy lounge with reclining leather sofa . The kitchen is light and spacious with all modern appliances. A large Samsung fridge freezer, Electric Cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and filter coffee maker plus all the cooking utensils and crockery that you may require. It has Superfast WiFi The separate dressing room is attached to the shower room with a pleasant open aspect over gardens which could also be used as a home Office. The hairdryer can be found in the lift up lid of the dressing table . On the second floor you will find a charming loft bedroom with a luxury leather TV bed and dual aspect velux windows. Nestled under the eaves it creates a snug atmosphere to relax and unwind , perfect for a restful nights sleep or to watch TV in bed. In addition, the front skylight opens up vertically so you are able to stand and take full advantage of the view to watch an event such as the Handmade Parade pass by, from the high vantage point. The apartment benefits from being located on a quiet lane so sleep is uninterrupted by traffic noise. At the rear is a very private raised patio for enjoying a drink or a bite to eat, this is a rare commodity so close to the village centre. Hebden Bridge has recently been voted the greatest town in Europe and is featured on Gimbal Walk TV and is the home of the famous TV series Happy Valley . The apartment is the perfect base to explore other local landmark sites featured in recent TV series, Gentlemen Jack, The Gallows, Jericho, Swallows and Amazons , Last Tango in Halifax, Riot Girls plus many more . There is on-street pay and display parking available directly outside the apartment but this is for permit holders only overnight. There is a public carpark directly opposite the apartment which has EV charging points and is free overnight. Hebden Bridge has plenty of on-street parking which is a mixture of free or pay and display. We have a private parking space for a small car subject to availability. If you wish to use this it must be pre booked and cannot be guaranteed. Guest access Please note the keys will not be available until after 4pm via our Keysafe. To get to the property please walk down the passageway between the end of Royd Villas ( opposite the public car park ). At the end of here turn left and follow the path to the end of the cobbles and through the tall wooden gate . The outside lights are on a sensor. Directly outside the apartment parking is permit holders or pay and display during the day but permit holders only at night . Public car park and On-street parking are all in close proximity to the apartment . Early check in from 1pm or late check out until 1pm may be available for an additional charge of £30 . Please ask as soon as possible if this is of interest. Other things to note CHECK IN/OUT ARRANGEMENTS Our usual check in time is after 4pm and check out is before 10am. Early check in may be available for a fee of £30 from 1pm and a late check out until 1pm for an additional fee of £30. Both of these will need to be pre-arranged and are subject to availability. Please request at the time of booking. PLEASE NOTE : Unauthorised late check out will be chargeable at £30 per half hour. LOGS If you wish to use the wood burning stove you will need to bring your own supply of logs etc or we can arrange to deliver a supply for an additional competitive charge. Please ask prior to arrival. They are also sold in the village and the nearby petrol stations. Celebration packs Champagne /prosecco/ ballon’s / chocolates are available by pre order.
