Windsong Cottage, Waterberg Cottages.

Situated on a private game reserve in the Waterberg Biosphere, Windsong Cottage has a private garden with a private hot tub and firepit with BBQ area. In addition to the 15m pool with an open vista of Waterberg hills and chance to view any passing game, we offer walking trails, game drives, guided astronomy, horse rides and guided birding. For children, there is a trampoline, sandpits, a jungle gym, pony rides and donkey cart rides. Windsong is pet friendly. The space Windsong Cottage, the original homestead of the Baber family, has eleven beds in four bedrooms, two of them with bathrooms en-suite, and two bedrooms sharing two bathrooms down the hall. Nearby Kingfisher Cottage was built as a guest cottage and can accommodate four more in two bedrooms sharing a bathroom. The cottages form part of a loose crescent of four cottages that make up the Waterberg Cottages portfolio. All the cottages are linked by a large communal park-like garden. In addition to this, Windsong Cottage has its own private garden area. Guest access Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Windsong garden, but also be able to roam across the communal gardens fenced off from the game area by an electric fence. The jungle gym and swimming pool are shared by Waterberg Cottages' guests. There are marked walking trails into the surrounding veld with lookout points and picnic spots. For further adventuring, guests can book a game drive a horse ride, or a guided walk. Other things to note We are just 2,5 hours from Gauteng in a malaria-free area. The Waterberg Biosphere is considered an area of unspoilt natural beauty. Due to 3kms of municipal dirt road, and a rather sandy farm track, we advise against coming in a low-slung luxury car. 4x4 is not needed, but some ground clearance would be helpful.
