The space Morton House is one of the oldest properties in Masham, offering discerning guests accommodation in a great country atmosphere which both cosy and welcoming. The 4 brms are all large and 2 of them are en-suite - with the large house bathroom convenient to the other 2 brms. Ideal for families with comfy living rooms and wonderful farmhouse kitchen / diner, this charming property is your home from home when visiting Yorkshire. The walled courtyard garden is shared with a 3brm Stable Block - it is walled and private, catching the sun all day and has a charcoal BBQ. This lovely property provides you the space to enjoy with family and friends and time to relax. Ideally located in the town so you can walk to everything. NOTE: We are unable to accept pets into this property when it is taken on its own - we will consider pets when one group is taking the entire property. Just ask us. Guest access Please note all bedrooms in Morton House are upstairs and the house sits over 3 levels, this property is not suitable for sleeping guests with limited mobility. If you need further accommodation, the rear property, The Stable Block does have an en-suited double bedroom on the ground floor which is suitable for some limited mobility - please ask us if you have any questions. What we have is a really comfy home away from home as a great base for discovering the Yorkshire Dales, All the amenities you would expect in a home and probably more. Sky TV - movies and sport, WIFI, towels, linen, heating etc all included. Other things to note Morton House faces onto Park street, facing the road. If you are a light sleeper might be best to choose the back bedroom which is a little quieter. You will hear the road noise in the front brms and being a sleepy village it is usually quiet at night. You can access Dales and Moors from Masham - Harrogate, Leeds, York and the coast are within 1.5 hrs drive. We will request a £200 refundable security deposit to be paid directly to us within 7 days prior to arrival. This will be returned to you within 7 days of departing the property in good clean order.
