Oude Relais de Poste – Hôtel Beury

Old Relais de Poste from the 18th century in the Champagne-Ardennes. Between 1995 and 2008, this building served as a gallery of modern art. Originally, this was a resting place for the stagecoach on its way to Paris. l'Echelle is part of the tourist route of the fortified churches and has 140 inhabitants, a village fleuri status, an arboretum and a museum. The garden is enclosed with trees and a work of art by a contemporary artist and an old courtyard. The space Hotel Beury still has some very old elements: - The mosaic floor dating from 1889 - The staircase dates from the 18th century - The cellars are beautifully vaulted and untouched since the 18th century Guest access You have access to all parts of the house, except the laundry room. Other things to note There is no Wi-Fi, and 4G can only be found outside the house at the castle (the range is not always optimal). Towels and bedding are provided.
