Fossane gard - Subbeli, cabin in middle of nowhere

If you are at Subbeli, the summer farm of Fossane farm, you will feel completely alone on the earth. A charming and cozy mountain cabin that you have all to yourself. You may meet moose, deer or sheep, but the chance to meet people is small. It takes about an hour to walk to the farm. You can park your car with us at Fossane farm. At Subbeli you can find tranquility and enjoy the silence. You can swim in the cool water in the stream in front of the cabin. You will find the water in the stream, and there is no current. It would be great if you could help with the wood chopping. The space Subbeli was the summer farm of Fossane farm in the old days. Here they used to groom the cows in the summer. On the old grounds, 10 years ago, a nice, charming new cabin was built. Here you are completely alone on the land. You use water from the stream, outhouse and there is no electricity. There is one room: kitchenette (well equipped with pots, plates and cutlery and you cook on a gas hob), dining table, sofa bed and bunk bed (wide bed at the bottom, single bed at the top). Guest access You will arrive at Fossane Gard, where you can park your car. From there you walk for about an hour to Subbeli. Wear good footwear (waterproof) and make sure you have a good app (td. UT) on your mobile or map and compass. Other things to note The trip to Subbeli can be a round trip. From Fossane Gard to Subbeli and further from Subbeli to Fossane Gard. From Fossane Gard to Subbeli you follow the road towards Fundingsland and then follow the trail up. A steep climb in, possibly, wet terrain. You walk through the woods. The trail is easy to find and Subbeli is located along the trail. You can continue from Subbeli further up, to get over the tree line, the trail continues in the mountain area and comes down via an old sheep trail towards Fossane Gard again. When you use wood for heating, we ask you to transfer NOK 100 per day extra.
