Zero Water Street - Penthouse Suite & Harbor Views

This stately ante-bellum mansion (c. 1837) is one of twelve historic homes perched upon Charleston's famous "High Battery". As a guest, you enjoy the entire third floor suite of this prestigious "South of Broad" home. The space This has been our family home for over 115 years and is currently occupied by fourth and fifth generation descendants of Henry Porter Williams. Zero Water Street Bed & Breakfast is a stunning 1400 square foot luxury penthouse accommodation located directly on Charleston's famous "High Battery" and overlooks Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter. With the magnificent view out front, we refer to the 3rd floor penthouse as the "Harbor Suite" and it is the only accommodation we offer at this location. While the Harbor Suite is quite large, we can only accommodate two guests*. The Harbor Suite is very private and is for your use only with no shared facilities of any kind. The third floor itself has a large drawing room, a master bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen with washer/dryer, a study/library room, and spacious bathroom with its own window overlooking the harbor. Architectural features of the suite include soaring 12' ceilings, an original Tiffany chandelier, black marble mantels and multiple large floor to ceiling windows that are your access to the adjoining outside covered piazza (porch). The huge private piazza is an incredible feature that includes rocking chairs, a hammock and outside dining area. From the piazza, you can literally watch the sun rise and set, observe sailboats and ships entering the harbor, and see dolphins feeding directly in front of the house. It's a remarkable place and will be something that you remember for a lifetime. Guest access Guests will have full access to the 3rd floor penthouse suite and adjoining porch.
