Long Barrow at The Farm at Avebury

After a day spent exploring, Long Barrow’s cleverly designed L-shape kitchen has all that you need to prepare supper with, before taking a well-deserved seat on the sumptuous sofa. Long Barrow has two bedrooms: a king size room with ensuite on the mezzanine floor (accessed via a built-in wooden ladder) and a twin room with shower room on the ground floor. Look out for the flourishes of pink (which we love!) and dramatic Artisans of Devizes tiles. The space Designed with interior expert Polly Ashman, our stables feature their own individual style and are an elevated home away from home. In Long Barrow, original artwork sits alongside vintage-era pieces and a contemporary colour scheme. This stable can be linked with Silbury Hill through a shared boot room. Somewhere to leave muddy boots and coats, with a washing machine for guest’s use. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'd expect to find in your own home, allowing you to cook your favourite meals. The living area features a squishy sofa and TV for cosy, relaxed evenings or you can curl up and read one of our books or handy walking guide. We only use the most comfortable and luxurious bedding in our bedrooms, ensuring you have a peaceful night's sleep. On a clear night take a look through the velux windows on the mezzanine level for a spot of stargazing! Outside there is a shared landscaped courtyard complete with pergola and seating for alfresco dining. Guest access The Stables are accessed from our sign-posted entrance just opposite Silbury Hill. There is parking just outside the courtyard area with designated spaces for each stable plus extra spaces and an EV charging point. Other things to note As a welcome for all our guests, we provide tea, coffee, local milk, sourdough bread, butter and apple juice. We also produce our own meat on the farm so please let us know if you would like any beef, lamb, pork or venison for your stay. We have a list which we can email ahead of your stay. There are coal Weber barbecues and fire pits for our guests to enjoy. We ask that you provide your own coal for the BBQ and wood for the firepit as well as fire lighters. A welcome guide will be emailed to you before your stay with everything you need to know but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to message us!
