During our travels, we rent out our modern, spacious and sustainable home (2018) in Joure. The house is on the water and is very child friendly! Equipped with three bedrooms and an attic room. Bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, double sink, toilet. Heat pump, cast floor, cooking island, dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, built-in coffee machine, folding garden doors. In the fenced garden, a large terrace and canopy with lounge set and outdoor kitchen. A terrace and hot tub on the water! The space Both the house and the garden are very child-friendly. Everyone is welcome, but for families with small children (2 - 8 years old) this house is ideal, because it is designed for them! The garden door can be locked, the gate to the water too, so that children can play in the garden without danger. On the second floor are three bedrooms: the master bedroom with large double box spring (180x220) and two children's bedrooms. Our eight-year-old son's room has a bunk bed (90x200). Our six-year-old daughter's room also has a loft bed. In this room, there is also a crib (70x160) with fall protection. In the attic, there is a travel cot for younger children, which can of course be used. In the attic, there are also some baby toys and a changing mat. Feel free to visit one of the many playgrounds, go to the play beach with the rowboat (with 12V motor), race on the big go-kart, hang the hammock, use the bicycles (one women's bike with two child seats and one men's bike with two child seats), cast a fishing rod or drink a beer on the bench in the front yard, while the children race back and forth in the street on the balance bikes (2x), scooters (2x) or the big go-kart! In bad weather, the children play with Duplo, Playmobil, Lego or the dollhouse, they play a game, draw, color or do crafts. There is a hot tub by the water, suitable for 4 adults. In the fall of 2024, a canopy with lounge set and outdoor kitchen was placed in the garden. Please note before booking! Our cat, Bing, will temporarily be your pet. The tenants will have to feed Bing daily and give him a pat on the head. You also give the fish in the aquarium a little food every day. Guest access The car can be parked in the driveway (private property). We don't have parking problems in Friesland! Public transportation, on the other hand, is not well organized. There is a bus stop a few hundred meters away, and in Heerenveen there is a train station. Bicycles are worth gold in our village! Other things to note Very suitable for families with young children! The beds: - One double bed (180x220). - Two single beds (90x200) (high sleepers). - One toddler bed with fall protection (70x160). - Optionally to be used: one travel cot for babies (without mattress and without bedding). Feel free to inflate an air bed (available in the house) if you are short of a bed. Calling all animal lovers and animal haters!!! We have a pet named Bing. A cat that is now four years old. He is out all day, or is in a deep sleep. During the rental, you take care of Bing: you feed him daily and let him sleep in the garage at night. No cleaning fee will be charged. We assume that guests will keep the house clean themselves, and deliver it clean! If you find this annoying, please let us know, and we will arrange a cleaner at an additional cost upon departure.
