In beautiful Ionian Calabria, a 15-minute drive from the crystal clear sea, there is a noble residence with centuries of history, ideal for cultural and social events. The property offers B&B hospitality and the possibility of celebrating small ceremonies in the private chapel of the Palace. Guests can explore the ancient library that collects over 7,000 volumes, many of which are ancient or rare editions, and enjoy the large terrace of over 200 square meters with breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Experience the atmosphere of an authentic historic building, immersed in the history and beauty of the aristocracy of Southern Italy. The space Palazzo Lupis is a noble residence with a rich centuries-old history, ideal for cultural and social events. It offers B&B hospitality and the possibility of celebrating small ceremonies in its private chapel. Recognized for its historical-monumental value, the building is a member of the prestigious Association of Italian Historic Houses (ADSI), a recognized moral entity with Presidential Decree 11/26/90, and is part of the Historic European Houses Association. Guest access The ancient library, which houses over 7,000 volumes, many of which are ancient or rare editions, overlooks a large terrace of over 200 square meters. This terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Ionian Sea, creating a unique and evocative environment for lovers of reading and natural beauty. During your stay Guests are personally welcomed, guaranteeing them maximum autonomy during their stay, while hospitality is enriched by the presence of the Duke and Duchess of San Donato, who still reside in the Palazzo. Other things to note Grotteria is a charming medieval village characterized by very narrow streets and alleys, known locally as "Gafi". The building is located in the heart of the historic center, where access by normal cars is impossible, requiring a short staircase of about one hundred meters to reach it. The tranquility of the place is guaranteed. To facilitate the arrival and departure of guests, especially if they are elderly or have mobility difficulties, we have two very small vehicles that can cross the streets and reach the building, ensuring the transport of luggage and the guests themselves.
