Chez Pierrot: Country cottage

Located in the village of Furfooz, one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia, on the heights of the Lesse, our house in rubble stone welcomes you for a stay in authenticity and charm, with family or friends. The large garden and orchard offer a 180-degree view of the Condroz and a rolling meadow, occupied by two horses and a donkey. This house, built in 1750, is listed on the oldest maps in the area. The space 1. Pierrot's room The bedroom consists of a 1.40 m bed, a wardrobe, a sofa bed and a sink. It is adjacent to the bathroom. It is decorated with period furniture, complemented by various objects found at flea markets. 2. Odette's room The "blue" room has a 1.60 m BoxSpring bed and a wardrobe, with the same attention to detail in the choice of decorative objects. 3. Jules's room The bedroom has a single bed and serves as a corridor to the 2nd floor of the house where the family floor is located. 4. The pink room The bedroom is furnished with a 1.60 m BoxSpring bed, a dresser and a sink, all equally beautifully decorated. 5. Family floor The family floor is the newest part of the house. Converted into the attic in 2021. It has a master bedroom with a 1.60 m BoxSpring bed and a children's bedroom with two single beds, a baby bed and a TV lounge. 6. The shower room The shower room has a walk-in shower and a pedestal sink. It was renovated in 2021. 7. Bathrooms The bathroom has a bathtub and a standing sink, as well as a toilet, including a Venetian mirror and various decorative objects. It was renovated in 2021 8. Living rooms The ground floor of the house has a super-equipped kitchen, in two parts: The back kitchen with all the cooking equipment and the front kitchen with the second fridge, the china cabinet and a small dining table. The beams are exposed and the doors are period. The entrance hall is furnished with a coat rack and a shoe rack. It provides access to the toilet and children's playroom. The living room and large dining room, with open fireplace, open onto the romantic garden, facing west. The table is extendable, there is a second bench for large tables. The room adjoining the living room is private and locked. 9. TV and internet The house is connected to Proximus (TV and internet). The internet connection in the house works and the TV is in the large living room. 10. Bed linens and bath towels Linen is not provided. It can be rented at an extra cost. 11. Outdoor The terrace is ideally exposed and has a great view of the Condroz. The front garden is a labyrinth of boxwood, topped with roses planted over time, it is private. The terrace is furnished with a table for 10 people, umbrellas, garden furniture, long chains, a fire pit and a barbecue. The orchard to the left of the house is shared with the back house, as well as the bocce court, at the bottom of the garden and a swing, hanging from the apple tree at the back of the garden that will delight your children.
