The Little Old Barn (TLOB) is a cosy self-contained annexe ATTACHED to our home set in the picturesque village of WOODBOROUGH, surrounded by the beautiful Nottinghamshire Countryside with excellent road links to both NOTTINGHAM & NEWARK. Belonging once to the house next door where William LEE invented the Stocking Frame in 1589. Ideally situated within minutes of the village pubs and beautiful countryside walks it is close to many local attractions & wedding venues. The space THE LITTLE OLD BARN consists of a private entry stable door, kitchenette, snug/dining space, bedroom with en-suite and corridor with a door that leads to our accommodation lockable from both sides. (See photo of floor plan) Central Heating & double glazing. The SNUG / DINING ROOM has a large single sofa bed, dining table and chairs, Smart TV with NETFLIX & an electric fire. The BEDROOM is furnished with a DOUBLE solid oak bed with luxury Emma mattress and hotel grade bedding. Oak dressing table and mirror with an upholstered chair and bedside drawers. There is plenty of hanging and storage space in the walk in wardrobe which also has a full length mirror, a cordless Dyson and a steam iron and ironing board. You will also find BATHROBES in here. A hairdryer is also provided. The En-SUITE consists of a large shower cubicle with an electric power shower. Wall hung toilet, sink unit with handy storage and a demisting lighted mirror with built in shaver point. Bath and hand towels along with toiletries are provided. The KITCHENETTE is equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals including a microwave with grill, fridge with integral freezer, kettle & toaster. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO OVEN OR HOB. A quartz worktop and mini Belfast sink complete this lovely space. Outside is parking for 1 car, an EV CHARGER (fees apply) and a private landscaped courtyard with MAZE RATTAN garden furniture. There is also a large grassed area that is perfect for a picnic sat on a blanket whilst enjoying the views across the rolling countryside hills. Aiming for a HIGH QUALITY LUXURY EXPERIENCE we have renovated the annexe using solid oak doors, limestone floor tiles and hand forged door fixings along with fabrics from Laura Ashley, Romo, Sophie Alport and Dusk. The walls have been painted using Farrow & Ball paint. No expense has been spared to ensure your stay is comfortable. A WELCOME HAMPER is included with starter portions of tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Super easy check in and check out with our key safe. PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple of steps both inside & outside the property making it unsuitable for wheelchair users. The annexe is attached to our home and although a totally separate space you may hear us from time to time. We also have a very chilled Cockapoo Teddy. SORRY BUT CHILDREN UNDER 16 & PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED Guest access One parking space is provided at the property with plenty of free parking on the road for extra vehicles. Other things to note For liability & security reasons, guests may not bring any visitors or any others to our home at any time, for any length of time. Only those individuals who are registered guests may enter the premises.
