Comfy bell tent in a cork oaks forest

With our cozy bell tent, nested inside an oak forest, you will be able to reconnect to nature without compromising on comfort. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and eat a delicious breakfast in our outdoor lounge (local, high quality/organic products). We are in a quiet, yet very convenient location, 20 min from the beautiful beaches of Vilanova de Milfontes and Porto Covo. Everything here has been made by us, with love and 99.9% natural materials so you can enjoy peace, quiet, and nature. The space Surrounded by cork oaks on a 12 ha private land, our place is a 20 minutes drive to the beautiful Coast of Vilanova de Milfontes and Porto Covo. 10 minutes West, you will reach the small town of Cercal do Alentejo, with all commodities and few restaurants and cafés. This quiet refuge is off-grid, powered by solar panels for energy. The hot water in the close-by showers (30m from the tent) comes from our stone well and is warmed by solar panels. Light in the compost toilets and showers at night is from solar led strings to avoid light pollution. We strongly believe that there are few things as awe-inspiring as gazing at a sky full of stars… The queen bed sleeps two comfortably. The tent includes also a single bed and a kids bed/mattress on demand. Intentionally, there is no Wifi. If you happen to need it anyway, we'll be happy to connect it in the outdoor bistrot area. :) Monte Amadia observes key green principals of smaller footprint and minimal disturbance to the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Other things to note We serve a fresh breakfast (organic, local products) to our guests, included in the price of the night. We can also prepare a delicious dinner (extra) on request (to be ordered the day before). Saturday is pizza day at Monte Amadia, from 12:00 until 21:00. It is like a small pop-up restaurant for our guests and the locals (Portuguese and foreigners living around). Our guests are most welcome to come and enjoy our delicious pizzas, made with local products in our wood oven, as well as homemade deserts. Registration Details Exempt
