Another part is reserved. Fly to us for a weekend or a whole week! The space Ginostra is a small, enchanting seaside village that has remained absolutely intact. Accessible only by sea, it is located on the southwest side of the island of Stromboli, at the top of a hill that connects it with the port, which has been enlarged and adapted in recent years to allow the docking of ships and hydrofoils. In winter, Ginostra has only about thirty inhabitants, but in summer the tourists who populate it are hundreds, welcomed in the ancient, typical Aeolian houses carefully restored by the inhabitants in recent years. From the harbor, a staircase leads to the square. Here the only two roads depart: one leads to the church and the upper part of the village, towards the Timpone del Fuoco, an extraordinary point of observation of volcanic eruptions, especially at night; the other road passes immediately in front of the Bar "L'incontro" and then heads towards the cemetery and Lazzaro, a favorite place for tourists to sunbathe and swim. To better savor the taste of an island vacation, we offer a room that, despite being recently renovated, retains its typical Mediterranean architecture. It is a cozy room, with exposed beams and 19th-century floors with antique tiles. Very bright and fresh, it is furnished with rustic wooden furniture. The room has a private bathroom, fridge and panoramic terrace with sea view. There is a shared kitchen available to prepare meals. From 9/15/2025 to 5/31/2026, bars and restaurants are closed! BREAKFAST: - As a Vacation Home, we do not offer meals or breakfast.️ ROOM CLEANING: - Daily cleaning of the room is not provided. NOT PERMITTED: - Smoking is not allowed inside the room. - For the possible admission of pets, contact us in advance.‼️ - Accommodation for unregistered persons. - No parties/events without our permission. FAIR PLAY: - Guests are required to behave in a manner consistent with morality and good civilized living, avoiding disturbances with clamor, harassing noises, loud sounds and so on. - Respect for nature and the place that hosts us. RESPONSIBILITIES AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Be careful not to lose the room keys. This would result in a charge of €50.00. Maximum respect for the house, any damage must be compensated. BED LINEN AND TOWELS: Bed linen is provided upon arrival. Bath towels are provided upon arrival. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by me and my family, we take care of my house and my guests. You may consider my family as your reference person on the island. We will give you good suggestions to better experience life on Ginostra. Please let us know your arrival time in advance to allow us to welcome you in the best possible way. MONEY Bring cash, there are no ATMs or banks on the island. WATER Water is a precious commodity and as such, I repeat, it should be used in moderation and without waste. SUPPLIES The house and the items that I am happy to make available to you are simple but dear to me, make good use of them and respect them. TRASH: There is no separate waste collection!!️ BASIC SUPPLIES: Upon arrival, you will find single-dose packets of oil, salt, sugar, pepper, and vinegar. Subsequent supplies are charged to the customer. In the bathroom upon arrival you will find single-dose shampoo/bath foam packets and a roll of toilet paper. Guests are responsible for their own subsequent supplies. In the kitchen, there is a hairdryer shared with other guests INTERNET For internet connection, I recommend that you bring a Tim or Vodafone internet key with you. We don't have Wi-Fi in the house and there are no internet points on the island.️ IMPORTANT!!️ - We do not respond in case of adverse sea conditions and interruption of ferries and hydrofoils, or bad weather. In the event that the causes of the non-arrival for the scheduled day are adverse sea weather conditions and no public transport departing from Naples, Milazzo and/or the other islands is able to arrive on the island, we will refund the guest 50% of the night or nights in which they were unable to stay. - We recommend that you inquire in advance about schedules, hydrofoil routes and ships.
