Idyllic nature house hot tub sauna near Wadden Sea coast

Bedandbreakfastwalden (wâlden is the Frisian word for forests) is located in the National Landscape Northern Frisian Forests. Characteristic is the 'smûke' couliss landscape with thousands of kilometers of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wooden walls) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity is great here. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the idyllic Wadden Islands. The space Suitable for families, couples, peace seekers, nature lovers of nature. Going out with a group of friends? Then you are welcome, provided the peace and quiet is respected, as we ourselves live with our family behind the cottage. Unfortunately, we do not allow groups of men. Bed and breakfast Walden is located in the front house of this renovated farmhouse. It has an independent entrance and private garden with a wood-fired Finnish sauna in the garden's boiler room. The living room is cozy and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the meadows. You can regularly spot deer. The kitchen is fully equipped with combi microwave and dishwasher, filter coffee maker, coffee maker and Senseo, spacious refrigerator with large freezer compartment. On the ground floor is a small bedroom with 2 luxurious single box spring beds, which can also be linked together as a double bed. Upon your arrival, the beds will be made and the supplied towels will be waiting for you. If you have a preference for which beds, please let us know! Two bathrobes are available for the sauna/hot tub. There is a modern bathroom with underfloor heating and towel radiator. The bathroom is located on the first floor. On the 2 nd floor, there is a large bedroom 11 m long, with sloping walls!! Here is a double bed with a double duvet and a single bed. For small children, we have a fold-out Koelstra camping bed available. Bringing one extra mattress is recommended. The house is heated by infrared panels, wood-burning stove and occasionally with central heating. For the children, it is a great play adventure in the spacious backyard, which you can enjoy. There is a pond 60 meters long (this is not close to the house), with hiking trails and woodland. Boating is possible in the pond when the water level is still high enough, and there is a large trampoline and a ping pong table. Also located at the pond about 100 meters from the house is the outdoor shower with cold water!! (only available in spring/summer) and the hot tub (2 people), this is optional. On the premises, chickens roam, and our cat Jisca walks around. We also have 2 sweet goats, B&B Bo and Bambi. Guest access The house is furnished to accommodate up to 5 people. Very suitable for couples, families. Groups in consultation. You rent the entire front house, which used to be a farm. The driveway of 600 m has a few sharp narrow bends, which is not accessible to large traffic! Other things to note Large basket of wood €10,- Sauna can be used every day until 10 p.m. Hottub €30,- To be used between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. No use possible in extreme weather, such as snowstorm, extreme freezing cold The hot tub is heated to temperature by us. If we are not able to heat the hot tub, you will receive a €10 discount so you can do this yourself. In extreme freezing cold, the hot tub cannot be used!! Take into account a heating time of approximately 3 hours. The hot tub is located in a private place in the shared backyard, about 100 m from Walden. (Bringing slippers is advisable) Breakfast : €15 pp. breakfast is provided from 2 people. Is possible between 8:30 am and 10 am. €12.50 child to 10 Breakfast is not possible on Sundays and holidays.
