Idyllic nature house hot tub sauna near Wadden Sea coast

Bedandbreakfastwalden (wâlden is the Frisian word for forests) is located in the National landscape of Northern Frisian forests. Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of miles of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wood ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The space Suitable for families, couples, peace seekers, nature lovers. Get out with a group of friends? then you are welcome, provided the tranquility is observed, as we ourselves live behind the cottage with our family. Unfortunately, we do not allow groups of men. Bedandbreakfast Walden is located in the front house of this renovated farmhouse. It has an independent entrance and private garden with a wood-fired Finnish sauna in the boiler cabin of the garden. The living room is cozy and offers a beautiful panoramic view over the meadows. You can regularly spot deer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a combination microwave and dishwasher, filter coffee maker, coffee maker and Senseo, spacious refrigerator with large freezer compartment. On the ground floor is a small bedroom, new box spring beds are expected from mid-December, which can be connected as a double bed but can also stand separately. The beds are made and towels are provided for you upon arrival. Do you have a preference vwb which beds, please let us know! Two bathrobes are available for the sauna/hot tub. There is a modern bathroom with underfloor heating and towel radiator. The bathroom is situated on the ground floor. On the 1st floor is a large sleeping area of 11 m long, with sloping walls!! Here is a double bed with a double duvet and a single bed. For small children, we have a fold-out cool street camping bed available. Bringing one extra mattress is recommended. The house is heated by infrared panels, wood stove and occasionally with central heating. For the children, it is a large play adventure in the spacious backyard, which you can enjoy. There is a pond of 60 meters long (this is not near the house), with hiking trails and bossage. Boat sailing is possible in the pond when the water level is still high enough, and there is a large trampoline and a ping pong table, Also located at the pond about 100 meters from the house is the outdoor shower with cold water!! ( only available in spring/summer) and the hot tub ( double) , this is optional. Chickens scramble on the property, and our cat Jisca around. We also have 2 sweet goats B&B Bo and Bambi Guest access The house is decorated up to max. 5 people. Very suitable for couples, families. Groups in consultation. You rent the entire front cottage, which used to be a farm. The 600m driveway has a few sharp tight turns, which is not accessible to major traffic ! Other things to note Large basket of wood €10,- Sauna can be used every day until 10 p.m. Hottub €30,- Can be used every day between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The hot tub is heated to temperature by us. If we are not able to heat the hot tub, you will receive a €10 discount so you can do this yourself. In extreme freezing cold, the hot tub cannot be used!! Take into account a heating time of approximately 3 hours. The hot tub is located in a private place in the shared backyard, about 100 m from Walden. (Bringing slippers is advisable) Breakfast : €15 pp. breakfast is provided from 2 people. Is possible between 8:30 am and 10 am. €12.50 child to 10 Breakfast is not possible on Sundays and holidays.
