My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids). You can see a multitude of stars in the unpolluted, dark night sky, mingle with the huge variation of wildlife or just meander up to our free range hens and collect fresh eggs for your breakfast. There is nowhere more relaxing. NOTE. During summer holidays it is a minimum of 3 nights. Please Note: NO groups of males allowed due to past problems. You can see a multitude of stars in the unpolluted, dark night sky, mingle with the huge variation of wildlife or just meander up to our free range hens and collect fresh eggs for your breakfast. There is nowhere more relaxing. Our deer roam freely in the valley and although a bit shy can be seen from the cottages. Keep an eye out for our inquisitive donkeys who are always on the look out for a tasty treat or two. We are sure you will fall in love with the place just as we have. Guest access A superb cottage on the edge of Fylingthorpe with stunning sea views just a short drive from Robin Hoods Bay provides a wonderful base for a seaside/walking holiday in North Yorkshire. The cottage has two bedrooms, a double on the ground floor with en-suite bathroom with full size bath and a twin plus a shower room on the first floor. There is a large lounge/dining room which leads onto an outside balcony via french doors over looking the sea. A separate, well equipped kitchen is provided for all your culinary needs and You have your own garden with hot-tub, BBQ and patio furniture for those relaxing evenings after exploring this magnificent coastline. The property has been newly renovated and furnished to a very high standard with every room having stunning sea views over the valley towards Robin Hoods Bay. There are two footpaths leading directly from the farm which meander down to the Cinder track and the Cleveland Way and there is direct access to the North Yorkshire Moors at the top of our drive providing fabulous uninterrupted nature walks where wild deer roam. Other things to note A security bond is in place for if guests damage the property or leave the hottub in a dirty state. Please discuss prior to leaving if any issues have arisen. Please note that some sat navs take you the wrong way and you end up at Stoup Brow. Stay on the A171 Whitby to Scarborough road we are directly off this road look out for the black sign with the gold stag... Thorney Brow Farm. Stay on this track it will turn into concrete road follow it until it becomes a limestone track DO NOT carry on on the limestone track but take a sharp left still on concrete where you will see another sign saying thorney brow farm follow this and you will come to farmhouse the cottage is at end of farmhouse.
