Tiny, secluded yet close to town!

Freestanding tiny house designed for and built on a unique location within cycling distance (5km) of Groningen city center (bicycles can be borrowed free of charge). Enjoy the tranquility of the Groningen countryside with the view of the city skyline. The tiny house is a self-contained residential unit of 2.5m x 5m made from recycled material. Equipped with a shower, toilet, water, electricity, internet and heating. Bus stop is 200 meters away. The space The large windows overlooking the grasslands give a free and spacious feeling despite the small square meters. The ridge height of 3.5 meters in the seating area also provides surprisingly more space than expected. The double bed (140 x 200) with lighting and a power outlet on both sides can be reached via the sliding stairs. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, two-burner electric stove, oven and all necessary cooking utensils. Coffee/tea, sugar, pepper/salt, oil, etc. are provided. Dish towels, towels and tea towels are also provided. By using various retro and vintage elements for the interior, a unique warm and cozy atmosphere has been created that makes you feel right at home. The cottage has sun all around. In the morning, enjoy the rising sun from the covered veranda and in the evening the setting sun over the city of Groningen. The various windows that can be opened against each other all have a screen so that fresh air can also be enjoyed indoors without being bothered by flies and/or mosquitoes. Outside, there is a terrace with lounge sofa, chairs and table. There is also the possibility to relax in a 1 or 2-person hammock. Guest access The tiny house is located at the rear of the farm. The tiny house can be reached via an unpaved path on the left side of the farm. If you are by car, there is plenty of (free) parking. We ourselves also live at the rear of the farm where you can knock on arrival. There is the possibility of placing a tent if you want to come with children. There is a lovely lawn to play on. Other things to note The tiny house is on our property, but offers plenty of privacy. With the separate garden chairs, you can always find a nice place out of the wind and in the sun. But lying against a hill under the pine trees in the grass is also fantastic.
