Five star Swiftgate is a cosy, one bed ground floor apartment featuring a south facing en suite bedroom plus an open plan fitted kitchen and TV area. There are far-reaching rural views with patio doors opening to the garden from both rooms and it has it's own private garden entrance with a parking space right outside the door. The space Please note that my living room is directly above you, so you will hear occasional footsteps as the house is 150 years old! Your apartment also has an access stairway to the main house which is always locked for the duration of your stay. Swift Place is a quiet lane that ends 100 meters away at the top of Ryburn dam (ideal for a gentle stroll before breakfast) with views over the lake to Manshead Hill. There are miles of moorland walks to be enjoyed straight from the rambler friendly house, and I'd be happy to advise you of some of my favourites. Guest access You're welcome to relax in the garden to take in the glorious views and in springtime watch the lambs play in the fields below the house. On warmer days you can eat outside at the garden table. However please note that I don't allow portable barbeques or open fires in the garden.
