Georgian House in stunning grounds - Isle of ISLAY

On the lovely Isle of Islay, located near Bruichladdich in the island's centre, giving easy access to the whole island. Nestled in its own mature woodlands, the house and gardens are very peaceful. The house is beautifully decorated and has many original Georgian features with high ceilings and a cosy fireplace to snug up by in the evenings. There is even a snooker table and piano to use. You are welcome to enjoy our home and experience the wonders of Islay in all seasons. The space We let the property on a whole house self-catered basis. You would have access to the whole property to enjoy for yourselves undisturbed. The house can sleep an absolute maximum of 16 people - although a lesser number of people is preferable. There are three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms; two twin rooms that share a bathroom in between them; two single rooms and two (adult sized) bunk rooms with a futher bathroom. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with aga, electric cooker and table for 14; a conservatory with seating area and further dining table and an elegant dining room which can also seat 14. There is also a large but cosy sitting room with wood stove; a hall with piano and wood stove; a tv room; office; snooker room; office and bootroom. Guest access Guests will have the whole house to themselves. Our housekeeper lives in the old coach house up the back drive and usually comes in weekday mornings. If you prefer absolute privacy that is fine too. Just let us know! Ideally such a let would be for minimum one week but we could consider anything 4 nights or over on request.
