Backed by the walls of P. Augustus, this small house is intended for a stay as a couple or with family. Its warm spirit results from a subtle balance between antique objects and noble materials. Here we find the charm of old houses with all the comforts of new equipment for cooking: cooktop, dishwasher, Smeg fridge freezer... You will enjoy long evenings by the fireplace in winter or the joys of nature in summer in a large garden. The space We worked as a family to restore this home to make it a welcoming and warm place. Living room with large openings onto the garden, monumental 18th century fireplace preserved, bathroom with walk-in shower, exposed beams and stones, rehabilitated salvaged materials. Courtyard and garden (walled) equipped with deckchairs, swing, slide, garden table and BBQ in summer. This haven of peace is ideal for a quiet weekend in contact with nature. The shops within walking distance of the house, 150 m, will allow you to discover our local specialties. Guest access Detached house with 2 private gardens, with possibility to park the car in the courtyard, but only in summer/dry season. The street is free and completely safe. Other things to note Linens included, beds made on arrival. Bath Towels, Soap, and Shampoo. Basic grocery store available. Despite all the attention we have to leave you an impeccable house, cobwebs may reappear within a few hours… Possible to order: - a basket Breakfast of local products (organic honey from the neighbor, homemade jam, pastries, fresh baguette, butter, juice, milk, coffee capsules, tea, sugar for €35 for 4) - homemade meals on request (organic vegetables from the vegetable garden or Amap): starter, dish, cheese, bread, glass of wine, dessert €25/adult and €19 per child. - additional guest (4 people) on request for €30/day In winter: Electric heating included and possibility of using the fireplace on request/from November to March (wood not included). From April to October, except during very cold periods, we limit the use of heating because the house is very well insulated and by keeping doors and windows closed in the evening and morning, it's better for the planet!
