Montgomery Vineyard

Montgomery Vineyard was once part of the oldest dairy farm in San Luis Obispo County. The unique accommodations offers guests an eclectic décor of antiques and memorabilia from behind the camera in Hollywood. The views from the large, private deck are of the vineyard and the vineyard covered hills beyond. It is a lovely, relaxing place to enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine made from the grapes grown in Montgomery Vineyard. Beautiful Avila Beach is just down the road. The space Please look at the photographs of the Creamery Barn to get a feel for the space and its environment. This is a place for those of you with a nostalgic bent, who enjoy the country, yet want the convenience of being less that 1/2 mile from the 101 freeway. Relax with your coffee on the deck in the morning in the cozy robe provided for you. Later, enjoy the complimentary Sauvignon Blanc wine made from grapes grown in the Montgomery Vineyard. There will be a vast array of information for you to pursue as you did decide how to spend your stay in San Luis Obispo. It includes maps, menus, vineyards, and beaches to visit. While in the Creamery Barn, enjoy your own favorite music on the Bose speaker or go "old school" and play some CD's from our collection. You are also welcome to enjoy the books in the tall secretary. If you like to explore, visit the big dairy barn which has been converted to a music venue. Be careful of the steps! There are also numerous places to ride mountain or road bikes, such as the nearby Bob Jones Trail and Johnson Ranch. The Creamery Barn is a special place for us. It is where we celebrate with family and friends. We will make every effort to make it special for you. Guest access The property is gated and you will be given a remote control for access. Guests are allowed to explore the exterior areas of the property, including the vineyard. You are also allowed to explore the historic dairy barn. Please be aware that terrain is uneven, has gopher holes, and some steps. Other things to note Water from our well is very high in minerals. We provide spring water for drinking and cooking. The water comes from our well and water pressure may vary. We have a young dog. Her name is Stella. She is very friendly
