We are located at the foot of San Marco d'Alunzio, under the Greek Temple of Hercules (4th century BC). The hillside village is located in the center of the two provincial capitals, Palermo and Messina. Capo d'Orlando, famous for the sea and its beaches, can be reached in just 20 minutes. The highway exits of Rocca di Caprileone and S.Agata Militello are 15 minutes from us. The view from our terrace is a marvel! More than 90 km of coastline are visible: from Cefalù to Capo d'Orlando, including the Aeolian Islands. The space The attic is exclusive, for the wonderful terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and for the warm and comfortable environment. The exterior is particularly recommended for enjoying an aperitif at sunset. The interior has all the comforts to make your vacation unique. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a unique family building. Note the bathroom is a little low, especially for tall customers, you should be a little careful, but it is still part of the characteristic of the attic. Other things to note San Marco d'Alunzio is a small village located on a hill at 500 meters above sea level. It is rich in history because over the years it has been colonized by Greeks, Normans, Arabs and Byzantines, leaving an invaluable heritage. In fact, in addition to the 22 churches located throughout the town, you can visit the only temple in the province of Messina, the Greek Temple of Hercules, built in the 4th century BC, which is right behind your accommodation!I recommend getting lost in the many alleys of the historic center and visiting the 4 museums all located in the historic center, asking for information at the tourist office in Via Aluntina in front of the Mother Church, you will find all the information. Don't miss the restaurants, "La Fornace" in Via Cappuccini, excellent for its pizzas and more refined dishes, or "La Macina" in Via Aluntina, specializing in typical local dishes.
