Description
Located up the private drive of Halton Shaws is the former Coach House, Wych House. Built in 1897 to house the horses of Halton Lodge this impressive dwelling enjoys a quiet spot close to the center of the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint. In 2019 the Nelson family moved in and set about renovating this beautiful Victorian property. Separate from the main house and accessed through the double garage doors is Wee Wych. This immaculately finished annexe is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite. The space Wee Wych enjoys a vaulted ceiling in the light and airy open plan living/ kitchen space. Here you will find a small double sofa bed. From here you have direct access onto a private walled garden (the Quad), where guests are welcome to enjoy the space. The bedroom is bright and quiet with a standard double bed. There is also a small child's mattress for the floor here. The bathroom (with walk in shower) is immaculately finished with a contemporary design. Guest access Guests access the property through the impressive coach house doors. The 'Passage' is not only the access but also a games room with Table Tennis and darts available. This space is also a great, secure location for bikes and buggies. Other things to note Hurstpierpoint is a vibrant village in the heart of Sussex. At the foot of the South Downs, with Wolstonbury Hill overlooking the village. Popular with cyclists, walkers and wine connoisseurs the area boasts an array of activities. With Brighton (9 miles), Hickstead (3 miles) and Lewes (15 miles) so near, Wee Wych is a great place in which to stay to explore this beautiful part of the UK.
