Bullfrog Cottage is a charming private second floor bungalow with a mid-century modern, open concept living space that overlooks Harveys Lake with wall to wall scenic views. The evening sunsets are spectacular and the Cottage is walking distance from restaurants, bars and the beach. Bullfrog has a private dock with firepit, seating area, full bathroom, and grill where you can keep your boat, swim, fish, kayak, jetski, ski, or lie in the sun! The space Overview Bullfrog Cottage features an open concept living space with full kitchen, dining and living space, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and wall to wall scenic views!!! The Cottage also include a gas fireplace, air-conditioning, three flat screen televisions, storage, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, cable, and small balcony. The view of Harveys Lake is spectacular and you are within walking distance of restaurants and bars. BullFrog also includes a private dock, where you can keep your boat, swim, fish, kayak, jet ski, ski, or lie in the sun! The dock provides an additional full bathroom, 2 kayaks, picnic table, luxury outdoor seating area, gas fire pit, lawn furniture, gas grill, cooler, umbrella, 2 bicycles, corn hole and life jackets for 2. Fishing is great with your equipment and fishing license. Also provided are 6 beach tags for entry to Sunset Beach, one block away in front of Grotto Pizza.... this small, lifeguarded beach is charming for little ones! Details The private master en-suite has a queen size bed, mounted television and view of Harveys Lake. Its bath features a shower without a tub. The second bedroom has two twin beds that are usually kept together as a king size bed, but can be separated into separate beds. It adjoins the main bathroom with tub/shower, creating an en-suite possibility. There is a mounted television. The third bedroom is small with two twin beds. It does have a view of the lake, but no mounted television. For long term use, it would be the perfect office space. The kitchen is part of an open concept space with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and an island with seating. It is stocked with an incredible array of equipment for those guests who love to cook or bake! It's incredibly stocked! There is a small outdoor balcony with seating right off the kitchen with a beautiful view of the lake. There is a gas grill with the cottage, but you access it at the entrance of the cottage and not the deck, for safety reasons. There is another grill at the dock for dual entertaining possibilities. If dining at the dock, there is a rolling cart at the cottage to transport items from one location to the other. The washer and dryer are off the kitchen. The living and dining spaces feature an entire wall of windows that showcase the beauty of Harveys Lake. Relax, entertain, eat and cook with this tranquil backdrop of water, mountains, gardens and sunset! It is truly spectacular! The grounds are separate from the private dock and beautifully manicured with magnificent gardens that are terraced from the cottage to the lake. The grounds are shared, but rarely used by anyone but BullFrog Cottage guests. There is an aged, retired, quiet couple, (my parents), that live part time on the first floor of the cottage when they are in town. There is a shed, labeled "BullFrog Cottage" where guests can find the bikes and corn hole. There is designated parking for BullFrog at both the cottage and the dock. Guest access Guests have full and private access to the second-floor cottage, second floor balcony and dock (lakeside). Guests have full access to the shared grounds. Guests have access to Sunset Beach (in front of Grotto Pizza and within walking distance of cottage). Sunset Beach is a private, membership beach that has a lifeguard on duty and a small playground for children. There are 6 tags located in the cottage. Other things to note Thank you for considering BullFrog Cottage, Harveys Lake as your vacation destination! Before booking, there are a few additional details to know about us and our expectations of our guests! We LOVE Harveys Lake! BullFrog is a separate guest house on our property! It is our home, and we LOVE to share it with you! As such we ask a few things of our guests: First, for safety of all guests and insurance reasons, we do NOT allow pets of any kind. We also do NOT allow smoking in the Cottage. Guests may smoke on the outside grounds and dispose of any smoking remnants. If you reserve the cottage….Before departing, we ask our guests to: • Please wash and put away all dishes. • Wipe out and empty the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets of all items you brought to the house. • Please wipe up any spills on the stove top, grill or in the oven. • Place/put all trash and recyclables in garbage cans located outside the cottage entrance. Additional garbage cans are also located at the dock behind fence in the parking area. • Please return items that may have been taken from the Cottage to the dock, i.e. beach towels, cooking items etc. • Please leave kitchen items, furniture, air control remotes and TV remotes arranged as you found them. • Make sure all windows and doors are closed and locked. • Check under all beds, sofas, and in all drawers and closets for your belongings. • Please turn off all lights and fans. • Check out time is 10 am.
