We cannot accept contractor/corporate bookings, this is a site rule. Explore the Suffolk Coast (AONB). Walk or cycle to Thorpeness & Aldeburgh through RSPB North Warren. Visit Dunwich, RSPB Minsmere, Southwold, Walberswick & Snape. A place to relax. Self check in. No WIFI. Good 4G signal. The space Open plan living with gas central heating and an additional electric fire in lounge area. TV, DVD player, great selection of DVD's, radio, toy box, books for all ages & games. Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, toaster, large fridge-freezer electric oven & gas hob. Spare lower cupboard to left of oven for your use. Condiments & cooking oil provided. Dining area to seat 4 guests, with 2 additional chairs available. Two sets of patio doors, lead onto a large balcony with patio table & chairs, additional seating, overlooking the sunken wildflower area. Our lodge makes for a family friendly stay. Two bathrooms, main bathroom with bath/overhead shower and en-suite shower room to the Master bedroom. You can spend time together, yet have your own space. There is a Kingsize bed in our Master suite & twin single beds in second bedroom. Wardrobes & drawers in both rooms, hairdryer in top drawer in master suite. Each bedroom has room for a blow up bed or a cot bed. We ask guests to provide their own travel cot/blow up bed for hygiene reasons. (bring cot/blow up bedding too). Highchair, toy box, books & games for the children. Selection of DVD's, CD's, books & Magazines for all to enjoy. At the back of the property you will find a large hedged grass area, ideal for children to play games. All linens & towels provided. Hand soap, Ttowels & basic cooking essentials provided for your use. Tea, coffee & sugar available. Lodge & Visitor information can be found in the lounge. IMPORTANT: No pets or assistance animals, due to family health/allergies. Please monitor children at all times. No BBQs due to fire risk. The site owner lives on our complex. No smoking or vaping inside the lodge. OUR AREA: We are within a nature reserve so along with herons, red kites and deer you will find an abundance of mini beasts. A Barn Owl is often seen sitting on a branch beside the gravel driveway. We have turtle doves too. RSPB North Warren is within walking distance, a great place for bird spotting. Guest access Entire home with private parking for 2 cars. Other things to note Although accommodation is on one level, three steps need to be climbed to reach the decking. No Wifi at the site, but good 4G. NOTE: Access to lodge from main B road, accessed via manmade gravel drive, speed limit 10mph, please drive slowly, it can be bumpy. Linens, towels & tea towels provided. Strictly no smoking/no pets or assistance animals due to family health issues/no events/no loud noise after 10pm. No extra guests to stay overnight. No access to fishing lakes behind the site. The farm behind is private. Our pond has lost water. Wildflowers have been planted to attract wildlife.
