A luxury 5 bedroom detached house nestling on the banks of the river in Wargrave, Henley on Thames. The private island sanctuary is teaming with wildlife. Relax and enjoy nature, play tennis on the island court or rent a boat and explore the river. Dine in the paneled dinning room and relax in the comfortable sitting room by the wood burner and watch the 65”flat screen TV. Enjoy the river views from the Master Bedroom either from the bath at the foot of the bed or from the wrap around terrace. The space PERFECT LOCATION FOR HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA AND HENLEY FESTIVAL. The house is spacious with a large sitting room overlooking the river. The Kitchen is new with top of the range appliances and a large induction range. The large wood panelled dining room also enjoys river views. Master bedroom has a roll top bath at the foot of the super king bed and an ensuite. There are two more ensuite Bedrooms with kingsize beds. All with underfloor heating and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Bedroom 4 has a king size bed and Bedroom 5 has 2 singles. Egyptian cotton sheets , feather duvets and pillows and fluffy white towels. The island tennis court is newly restored and the Island has loos and shower facilities. The Island is a ”Wind in the Willows” like retreat with wild plants and an abundance of wildlife. Guest access The whole property including the Island is open access to guests. By separate agreement the Island with the house can be rented for small exclusive events. The Island and house is accessible by car and boat from Henley where guests can arrive by river. Other things to note The property is on the riverside and children should wear a lifejacket when playing on the Island or in the garden and be supervised at all times .It is the guests responsibility to bring their own life safety jackets.
