Stonehouse Kato Elounda

Our beloved place it is found near the seaside resort of Elounda, 1 hour away from Heraklion, 15 minutes away from Agios Nikolaos and 5 minutes away from Plaka and Spinalonga (by car). It is a traditional Cretan stone house airy and sunny, with a nice view over the bay of Elounda, sited in a tiny and calm village (Kato Elounda) 5 minutes from the sea and a few hundred metres from the center of Elounda (on foot). Suitable for families, couples or bunch of friends. The space The place is divided in two parts: in the east side there is a two-story house with an outdoor kitchen and in the west side we find a terrace with an indoor kitchen and a WC. In the main house there are three divided rooms (though with no doors between them) with 2 double-beds and 2 single beds (6 person altogether), while the outdoor kitchen in the backyard is framed with a traditional oven, a barbecue and jardinières with Cretan herbs. The third room is an old stone reservoir furnished with a traditional wooden double-bed and a closet. On the other side, on the terrace we find a marble table and big umbrellas in the shade of which you can have your breakfast, lunch or dinner with overview all-over the bay of Elounda and the island of Kolokytha. Finally, below the terrace there is a nice tiny kitchen opposite to a WC. The place is suitable for families, couples or bunch of friends seeking for a cozy independent accommodation and a calm location in the area of Elounda. Our place is a serenity zone within the crowded but beautiful bay of Mirambelo.
