We're a short 13min drive to Okemo, 30min to Magic & Bromley, 50min to Stratton & Killington. Easy access to the VAST trail system 1 mile up our road. Historic downtown Chester is 9min away with plenty to explore! The space The Blue Moon Bungalow is a renovated camp with rustic charm and modern amenities. With enough beds to sleep 10 and a large great room on the first floor, it's the perfect escape for a group or multiple families. All linens and towels are provided. Inside our cozy interior you'll find three flat screen tvs with rokus to log into your preferred streaming services. Watch a movie, share a family dinner and play board games in our great room around the gas fireplace. Take in the natural beauty of Vermont while relaxing on our sunny deck, playing yard games, exploring the property and making s'mores by the firepit. Be sure to check out the amazing stargazing from the deck on a clear night! Perfectly located between Chester and Ludlow/Okemo there's something to do for the whole family. Outdoor lovers will enjoy the skiing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, hiking and leaf peeping. During the summer months book a scenic chairlift ride to the top of Okemo, take a ride on their mountain coaster and challenge yourself on their ropes course. Within a 15 minute drive of the Blue Moon Bungalow you'll find plenty of antiquing, fine dining, breweries, live music, golf and more! Guest access Guests have full access to the property (excluding locked closets and cabinets). The property is located on 2 acres in the woods and there is a short drive on a dirt road / steep incline off of the main highway. 4x4 or AWD is suggested in the winter. 5 parking spots are available to guests. Other things to note IG: @bluemoonbungalow This is a rural Vermont home where you can immerse yourself in the quiet, serene, natural setting. The joys of rural living also include a sensitive septic system and occasional critters and pests. Please help us minimize encounters with these outside visitors by keeping all trash and food items bagged and secured.
