Farm stay in Blackwell
Description
Blackwell Hall Farm is a busy upland dairy, beef and sheep farm located in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Originally owned by the Chatsworth Estate the farm has been in our family’s hands since 1896. Located in our 18th and 19th century stone built courtyard, The Old Stable has recently been converted to create a 6 bed holiday cottage. Built in 1863 this building was originally used by the farm to house working shire horses. The Old Stable offers a relaxing farm break for all. The space The entire of The Old Stables is yours to enjoy during your stay including outside seating to the front of the property and orchard to the side of the property. Guest access Situated directly on the Chee Dale footpath and only 1 mile from Millers Dale and the Monsal Trial, this cottage is perfect for walkers and cyclists wishing to explore the Peak District National Park or families wishing to explore the great outdoors. Other things to note The Old Stable boasts stone flag floors throughout the ground floor and oak flooring in all the upstairs rooms.
