Waterfront summer house, five bedrooms, beach

Our summer house is situated just 15 km outside Arendal on a many acres large piece of land on the island of Tromøya, which is accessable by car. It has its own beach and small boat landing. It has a spectacular view of the ocean. The house consists of two common rooms and five bedrooms. Two of them each has to single beds, the rest twin beds. The bathroom on the ground floor has a shower and washing machine. There is a toilet on the 1. floor, where you will also find three of the bedrooms. The space The indoor space is light and airy with plenty of windows facing the sea. There is plenty of space outside as well, including a beach and a boat landing. Kids love to swim, fish and catch small crabs from the landing and pick herbs and berries which there is plenty of on the grounds. You can also play soccer and other games on the bigger lawns. The oldest part of the house is from the beginning of the 19th cenetury and it has been owned by my family in many generations. It is a typical Norwegian summer house in a light and rustic style perfect for enjoying long summer days and nights. If you like to cook, the main kitchen is well equipped, and the other smaller kitchen also has a gas grill in the garden. You can dine in different locations inside or outside depending on weather and sun and what you would enjoy for that meal. The location and size of the property makes it ideal for those of you - young or older - who enjoy also the outdoors. Simple fishing gear is avilable as well as a SUP boards, canoe and a kayaks. There is a treetop-climbing park and a parkour park among other things close to the National Park on the other side of the island. Close by you find the city of Arendal. It has a heated sea bath and all facilities for a really nice summer city. Only 30 min away you find Nes Golf Club, and only 50 min drive from the hous you find Kristiansand Dyrepark witch is the biggest zoom and amusement park for kids in Norway. If you have a dog you want to bring along, we are open to it. However it need to be approved in advance. Guest access As guests you will have access to the whole house and the grounds. A house manual will be available. Guests need to bring their own bed linens and towels. The house must be left in the same condition you found it. Cleaning is done by hired help and is paid by guest (1800 kr). Other things to note We prefer grown up guests or families who rent more than one week.
