Salisbury Unique Design Award Winning Studio 28

Built at the rear of an Edwardian house in this quiet residential street in Salisbury this award winning contemporary building is unique. The alternating stairs do not make it suitable for those with a mobility impairment or children under 8 The space Modern and contemporary, the outlook is into the branches of an Japanese Maple making the little house feel like a tree house. You can sit in the house and watch the birds feeding a family of goldfinches ,nuthatch , gold crests, long tailed tits and occasionally a lesser spotted woodpecker. We have been re wilding our garden quite successfully and this year have attracted many bee species and dragonflies. The garden does look a bit ‘wild ‘ but also very beautiful at times . We are within 20 minutes by car from Stonehenge . The cathedral is a 15 minute walk as is the Station. The town centre is 10 minute walk. There is a wet room shower with basin and WC. Quality organic shower gel and shampoo/ conditioner is provided. As well as the combination oven and microwave there is a single induction plate . The washing machine is in the main house , this facility is offered to guests staying over 3 nights . We do not have a tumble dryer. Guest access The whole of the little house is for guests to enjoy. We emphasise the stairs and do not recommend this house for mobility impaired people. There is WiFi . We are eco friendly and ask our guests to recycle as much as possible. There is an outdoor table and chairs situated outside the Studio window . Guests are welcome to use the Weber BBQ. Other things to note We share the drive with our neighbours and ask that there is free access at all times. We can arrange permits for street parking but we will need registration numbers to do this.
