Henrys Cottage

Henrys Cottage is a place to make you smile. A warm friendly old fishermans cottage, where I hope you'll feel at home straight away, it is very comfortable & well equipped. Ideal for families & couples, with lots of things to keep you entertained. There is a pub, cafe, shop, fish and chips shop and the beach are all just minutes away. Pets & smoking are not allowed. PLEASE NOTE -Not suitable for people with limited mobility. Steep, wooden turning stairs- but my 82 yr old friend manages fine The space Henry's Cottage is a 2 up 2 down fisherman's cottage & many years ago, the wash house for the row of cottages was merged to form the downstairs shower room & lobby then only a few years ago we extended the kitchen to make a bright welcoming kitchen diner with a wood stove, the cosy sitting room complete with open fire is a great place to relax after exploring the area. Upstairs there are 2 comfortable double beds (one with a cot bed - but you do need to provide your own bedding for that) with drawers & hanging space or wardrobes. All the rooms are fitted with additional electric heaters so the cottage is always warm. On the better days there are gardens front & back to enjoy with table & chairs & benches and gas BBQ Guest access The whole house and gardens are available for you to use. Please treat it with kindness & respect. I understand accidents happen and sometimes things get damaged or broken, if it should happen to you, please contact me so I can sort it and not inconvenience other guests as I don't live locally & can be a time between my visits - thank you. Other things to note Henrys Cottage is a 150 year old fishermans cottage and so its not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are little steps between the downstairs rooms and a tight steep turning wooden staircase. The Shower room is also downstairs. Henry's Cottage is a non smoking & no pets allowed property for everyone's enjoyment
