Dairy Cottage, Great Wells, Burley, The New Forest

The Dairy Cottage is set in the beautiful, tranquil 8 acre gardens and grounds of Great Wells in the heart of the New Forest National Park. A haven for seeing all of the flora and fauna of the New Forest. Burley is one of the prime New Forest villages where you have the Forest on your doorstep to go and explore, and are only 10 minutes drive from the lovely coastline, with many beaches and harbours. We have lived here for over 30 years and love the New Forest, hope you can come and see it soon! The space Sleeps 4 + baby. Go for picnics in the Forest, paddling in Mill Lawn stream, building dens and owl watching at night! Take an evening swim in the sea in the summer! Guest access You have the whole cottage. The washing machines and tumble dryer in the out house in the stable yard are shared with the other cottage. Other things to note Please note that while general gas and electricity is included, the electricity for the Dimplex radiator heating is on a separate meter and payable as used. The property sleeps 4 persons plus a baby cot. If you would like to bring your dog with you on holiday then one well behaved house trained pet is allowed subject to the usual doggie requirements at £30.00 per dog per week to be paid on arrival- bring own bed, blankets, throws, bowls, towels etc. Wash off before entering cottage (hose and buckets available as are spare towels if you run out) Not to be allowed on furniture or beds and to be kept on a long lead when in the garden if you think he may wander as the garden is not fully fenced. The Forest surrounds us so plenty of opportunity for long walks off the lead proving he is good with the forest wild ponies and livestock.
