Looking for a quiet, relaxing beachfront place with a pool, fabulous view of the Caribbean, and just a short walk to the Old City? Casa Barbara Cartagena is a modern furnished apartment with AC, hot water, wifi & balcony -- perfect for a couple, a single traveler, or couple of friends! It is my home when in Cartagena but available for longer term visitors when I am not in town. 'Casa Barbara' is on the 15th floor with a balcony that goes the length of the apartment. You'll love watching the sun set each evening over the Caribbean! You also have a great view north to the Marbella/Crespo area of the coast and beyond, as well as a sneak peak from the balcony at the part of the Old City wall called "La Tenaza." The building is in the Cabrero district and was built in 2010, has 24 hour reception, two elevators; and a pool (15Mx4M), jacuzzi, sauna, & social area on the 7th floor. Your bedroom has a queen bed (2 single beds on request), night tables, reading lamps, small desk with chair, full length mirror, a private full bath with walk in closet, floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which lead out to the balcony & hammock just outside the door! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking & eating and there is counter seating plus a dining table & chairs. The living area has a nice seating and opens right up to the balcony, where this is a table with chairs. There is a half bath off the living area. In addition, there is a laundry area with washer/dryer, clothes drying racks & laundry sink.
