It is situated along the railway line between Mirow and Wittstock, decommissioned in 1998, which was once operated by the Mecklenburg Friedrich Wilhelm Railway and the Prignitz Railway Company. Here, I rent out one of three holiday apartments in the old rural train station. Covering 90 square meters, the apartment includes two bedrooms with five sleeping places, two living rooms with a wood-burning stove and a tiled stove, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located on the first floor of the rural train station. It has a TV and an internet radio with the option to connect a mobile phone via a 3.5 mm jack plug. A highchair for toddlers and a baby cot are available. The old rural train station sits on a large property outside the village, featuring a fire pit and a barbecue area. Nearby lakes with excellent water quality offer opportunities for swimming and paddling. Berlin is about 120 kilometers away and can be reached in 90 minutes by car. The nearest train station is in Mirow, 10 kilometers away, where you will also find various shopping facilities. During the main summer season, I only rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday. At all other times, the minimum rental period is three days. Guest access Guests of the first-floor holiday apartment may use the large communal garden with loungers, hammocks, a barbecue area, and a fire pit. The wood-fired garden sauna is available to our guests only by prior arrangement and after an introduction. Other things to note On the spacious property and in the fenced private area, our three cats and our dog Foxy also live.
