The cabin is built entirely of wood, located on a high wooden platform, which creates its unique atmosphere. Here you will experience real silence, you will sleep like never before. In summer, the greatest pleasure is sitting on a deckchair or in a hammock and looking at the forest, meadow and passing animals. You can also sit by the barbecue or the fire. Be sure to go to the mountains. You can visit the entire Kotlina from here. We are the ideal starting point. We will bake homemade bread for you. The space The bowl is a micro-house, just right for couples. Inside you will find everything you need for a comfortable holiday stay. There is a bathroom with a shower, the kitchen is equipped with a two-burner stove, an electric kettle, a microwave, a pressure coffee machine, a toaster, and a fridge. The bedroom is on the mezzanine and is accessed by a fairly steep staircase. If you do not like climbing a ladder, we suggest our second, larger cottage located on a separate plot 50 meters from Szalka - Szalejówka with a fireplace. We have installed blackout blinds in the windows, and in the summer we install insect nets. Under the house, we have a small hammock area - 2 hammocks and deckchairs are waiting for you. The cottage is open all year round - heating is included in the price. For your comfort, we have installed the latest hybrid heaters (convection and infrared). Guest access The house with a mezzanine is located directly next to the forest. Guests have access to everything in the cottage, as well as to the terrace, garden grill, parking, and the space between the cottage and the forest. You have to drive to the hiking trails, our location in the middle of the valley makes us a great starting point. Of course, you can also explore the area on foot, Szalejów Dolny is a charming village with historical monuments, a castle and a huge plateau with views of the entire valley. Other things to note The cottage is all wooden, so it makes noises, squeaks, etc. The location by the forest is also associated with all the charms, such as the sounds of animals after dark, the singing of birds at dawn, the ants traveling to eat if you leave them on top in the spring, etc. The forest is not under our control, it lives its own life :) Sometimes a bee or a hornet will fly by. So if you are afraid of forest dwellers, consider whether this will be a good place for you. Sometimes a tractor will pass by to a nearby cooperative or you may hear noises coming from there during the day. There are no passers-by here and there is peace and quiet, you cannot hear disco-polo on summer evenings or the festive singing of neighbors, we do not have them ;) the only neighbor for you will be the midwife 50 meters away Szalejówka, our second house (we only have 2 houses). Please walk around the house in slippers, the floors are mostly wooden, always washed before the arrival of our Guests. Please remember to bring your slippers, especially in winter, it can drag on your feet ;)
