A characterful one bedroom split level annex set on the edge of the pretty Kentish village of Matfield. Set next to the owners house, its a 5 to 10 minute stroll to 2 village pubs and award winning local butchers. Close proximity to The High Weald Landscape Trail and its many miles of footpaths through the Kent countryside. The historic Royal Tunbridge Wells is 5 miles away, the coast 45mins and an abundance of National Trust gardens and properties within a 45mins drive. The space The coach house is set over 2 floors, with the bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor. The eat in kitchen has an electric oven and hob, under counter integrated fridge with freezer compartment. The stylish bathroom has underfloor heating and a bath with an over bath shower. Steep stairs lead to a large bright oak beamed sitting room with views out over the garden, leading onto a tranquil kingsize double bedroom with views out to the garden and fields beyond. Egyptian cotton bed linen is provided. There is a Smart TV in the sitting room and Wifi throughout the coach house. The coach house is set next to the owners family home with parking in the drive way. We have 3 lovely children who enjoy playing in the garden as well as a labrador dog. The coach house is a short stroll to 2 village pubs (The Poet and The Star) and the local butchers which also doubles up as a greengrocers. The High Weald Landscape Trail (90 mile route) is within close proximity, enabling you to meander through the kentish countryside and orchards and explore the local villages. Packing your walking boots is a must! We would happily give you recommendations for local pubs and places to visit, and an arrival essentials hamper can be arranged for an additional charge.
