THE MUNICIPALITY OF LADYSMITH HAS NEW BYLAWS AND OUR BEACH SUITE IS NOW CONSIDERED A SECONDARY SUITE AS WE DON'T HAVE AN INTERNAL STAIRCASE ADJOING THE SUITE TO THE SECOND LEVEL, BUT WE HAVE 2 EXCELLENT EXITS IN THE SUITE. WE HOPE THE CITY COUNCIL WILL RECOGNIZE THE TOWNS LOSS AND FOLLOW PROVINCIAL BYLAWS. ITS IN OUR HOME AND WE LIVE UPSTAIRS. PLEASE CONTACT LADYSMITH CITY COUNCIL & EXPRESS YOUR CONCERNS. OR US AT OUR HOME ADDRESS IN PHOTOS. The space Our 1 bedroom ocean front suite is located in picturesque Ladysmith on Vancouver Island. Numerous stairs lead you to a self contained suite with the beach at your door step. Enjoy watching the sunrise, swimming, beach combing or bring your kayak or paddle board. We have long term (28 days minimum) winter rates ($1850) from Nov 1 to April 30. This includes $140 cleaning fee, $70 paid to Airbnb and the remainder in the above fee, for 4 hours of cleaning.   About 80 stairs lead you to the entrance of your private beach side suite. You'll find a comfortable bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals and a 3 piece bathroom with shower. Enjoy a private outdoor patio/ sitting area where you can watch the ocean come to life. Guest access Self contained suite with private ocean front entrance and the beach just steps away. Other things to note There is a mooring buoy out front, should you decide to arrive by water. There are numerous stairs leading to your beach level accommodation and a small boat ramp for easy access to the water where you can swim or launch your kayak or paddle board. In front of your suite, you may be visited by Blue Heron, eagles, sea gulls, seals and river otters. We have Keurig coffee pucks, some freshly ground coffee, sugar and also cream in the fridge.
