Flower Cottage @ Dassenheuwel

The Windmill & Flower Cottages are open-plan, with bathroom(Shower) and fully equipped kitchenette(no oven). Have a braai (BBQ), and enjoy the silence. Beds have Egyptian linen, with goose feather/down duvets. No TV, no bath, but with Wifi. We are 20-45 minutes' drive from Paarl, Riebeek, Darling, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Cape Town(60minutes). Enjoy wine- and olive tastings nearby. Please note: NO pets allowed. We also have the Farm Stay for families or Wheat Cabin for couples. The space The cottages sleeps 2 each (Queen bed). The bed has a good quality mattress with Egyptian Cotton linen and goose-feather duvet, nice and cosy!. The cottages are open-plan with the kitchen as well as the bathroom. There are No TV or bath. Free Wifi. Please enquire the rates to stay in the farm stay if you are more than 2 adults (unfortunately no children allowed in cottages). Unfortunately because of our area and the slopes on the farm - we couldn't make the farm stay or the cottages easily accessible for people in wheel chairs, no matter how hard we tried.. Guest access They can wander around on the farm, enjoy the farm life of a working cattle, sheep and wheat farm. Or visit all the wine farms or olive farms in the surrounding areas. Other things to note The cottages are completely self-catering. The cottages are serviced every day except weekends (only if you leave for the day - we’d like our guests to have an uninterrupted stay) Check out time is 10am. Flower Cottage sleeps only 2 adults (queen bed).. Please enquire price in farm stay if more than 2 adults/people/families. Please note, the cottage doesn't have a dishwasher, washing machine or dryer, or oven. We supply garbage bags, cleaning products if you spill something, spices (salt & pepper & braai salt), oil, vinegar, tomato sauce. The tap water is a bit salty, but there is still water decanted in glass bottles. (Extra available in honesty bar) The braai utensils are supplied, with 1 or 2 fire starters (Blitz) to start with, extra available in honesty bar... Bathroom amenities (shampoo/ shower gel/ toilet paper/ hand soap/ enough towels) are supplied. Once off Cleaning fee after departure if indicated. Firewood for sale , price available on request. PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely NO PETS allowed.
