Dee Valley Cottages - Swallows Cottage Llangollen

The cottage is in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with the River Dee and steam railway running along the bottom of the fields a short walk away. The cottage sleeps up to 4 adults in two bedrooms. There is a private shared garden with amazing views across the Dee Valley. The cottage is fully equipped with central heating, a cosy open fire, super king size beds in one bedroom and twins in the other. The price includes all power wi-fi, bed linen and towels. Dogs welcome. The space There is a satellite flat screen TV, surround sound DVD system, stereo and free wi-fi to ensure you keep in touch while away. With full size cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer dryer, the fully equipped kitchen has everything to meet all your needs. The ground floor shower room has been designed as a wet room making it easily accessible for all guests. All power is included in the price (based on our fair usage policy) with no extras charged other than coal for the fire (first bucket provided) Watch the local wildlife, feed the wild birds, watch the sunrise, or simply read a book and revel in the peace and beauty of the views. For train enthusiasts, the steam railway runs along the bottom of the adjoining field, with Dee Side Halt five minutes walk down the hill, stroll down to catch the train. Relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside or explore the many interesting places to visit and outdoor pursuits available in this area. All major supermarkets now deliver to this area, if you wish, you can have your shopping delivered during your visit. All stays of a week or more receive a welcome basket to enjoy with the tea and coffee which are already in the cottage. Special occasions can be catered for; please ask when booking if you require flowers, a bottle of bubbly, or some other special preparations made for when you arrive. Well behaved pets are welcome. Swallows cottage is suitable for guests with mobility problems. Guest access Your holiday home is completely self contained with its own patio area and private garden shared between both cottages. Other things to note Pets are welcome (up to 2 dogs) on the understanding they are kept under control at all times, not left in the property unattended and kept on a lead if walked in the fields where there is livestock. The maximum number is guests is four adults plus a few babies under two!
