We offer you your own place all to yourself between woods and fields. Space, peace and nature. The tent is on a corner of the meadow against the forest where you can walk in (2021: previously the tent was darker among the bushes). Wake up with morning sun and bird whistling, shade in the afternoon/evening. You can put the table and chairs in the sun with a view or among the foliage. There are always mint plants for tea, and if you are lucky, you can pick ripe fruits: strawberry, cherry, blackberry or raspberry... The space Our tent is of De Waard type "Zilvermeeuw". A simple accommodation, where the surroundings are the main attraction. Back to basics! A little more comfort, see below. There is 1 double (1.91x1.37cm) air bed. No bedding, but pillows and an extra blanket. Bring your own sleeping gear (sheets, pillowcases, sleeping bag). A table and 2 chairs and a hammock. Or use the blanket to lie on. Upon arrival, you will receive a thermos of boiling water. Dishes are ready. Cooking utensils (burner/pan) are for rent, indicate at the time of booking. There is a compost toilet. No shower. Water from a jerry can. We ask you to leave the tent after your stay as you found it. We provide hot water for tea, an air mattress (1.91x1.37cm), 1 blanket and pillow. Bring your own sleeping bag. For a small fee, we can provide a sleeping bag or cooking gear. Please ask for it when you make your reservation. Guest access You will stay in a quiet place on the edge of meadow and forest where basically no one comes. A place all to yourself. From the street, you walk 300 meters via a path along a wooden embankment to the tent. Our yard with the farm is a 3-minute walk from the tent. You park the car by the street and take your things with you, a wheelbarrow can be borrowed. Or by bicycle (by hand) to and from the tent. Next to the tent, you can sit comfortably, or under the awning if the weather is not so good. And dream away in the hammock. Other things to note -There is no bath or shower. - There is a compost toilet near the tent, read the instructions. - There is no running water. However, a 10-liter water tank is freshly filled for you and refilled as needed. Noise: The tent is in a rural area, so you will be able to hear the sound of a tractor or something similar. - Available: plate(s), cup(s), cutlery, dishwasher/brush/tea towel, dishwasher -The place is co-inhabited by "bugs," including mosquitoes (so you can bring anti-mosquito stuff). - Sleeping bag, gas burner and pan are available for a small fee.
