House in the heart of Moncontour

Beautiful townhouse located in the character city of Moncontour, voted "most beautiful villages in France". Spacious, on 3 levels with all the charm of the period, exposed beams, steep stairs and fireplace... for 2 to 5 people (4 adults max). The accommodation is located above a cabinetmaking and straw marquetry workshop. 1 hour from St Malo, 25 minutes from sandy beaches, 1 hour 20 minutes from Mt St Michel, 1 hour 30 minutes from the south coast. Ideally located to discover our beautiful region and Breton culture. The space Beautiful living room on parquet and equipped kitchen with a comfortable living room and space to eat and play or work. On the 1st floor, a landing with a small armchair (quiet corner), 1 bedroom with a double bed 160 (or 2 twin beds on request), bathroom with toilet. On the 2nd floor, a mezzanine with 2 single beds that can be converted into a double bed +1 armchair as an extra child's bed. Bed and baby equipment upon request. Connected flat-screen TV, internet, books and games available. For board game enthusiasts, we adapt the games to the age of the children but also to the wishes of adults. Guest access Free parking at the foot of the house, except Tuesday afternoon due to the market, other free parking is available in Moncontour. Many quality shops in the city within walking distance (bar, restaurants, pastry shop, fishmonger, butcher, bakery, press, bookstore, laundromat, banks...). To enter Moncontour more easily, take Rue de l'Eperon (bottom of the ramparts towards the fire station in the direction of the Poterne) then "go up" Rue St Jean and turn left after the bank. Other things to note Children are welcome but vigilance is required because the stairs are difficult and it is impossible to install barriers, we cannot close the mezzanine. Our place isn't suitable for people with limited mobility.
