Welcome to Urbanna Vacation Station! A premier private apartment located in historical Urbanna. Enjoy access to our dock on Perkins Creek (behind the primary home) for kayaking or to relax and enjoy the view! Easy walk to the town marina, great restaurants, shopping, town playground, putt-putt golf, ice cream, parks, bakery & town museum. Near excellent golf, wineries & public beaches. Ideal for family & couple getaways. Just 45-60 mins from Richmond, Williamsburg & Yorktown. The space This renovated apartment near the water is located over a three car detached garage separate from the main house with its own entrance and parking. It can sleep up to six; it has one private bedroom with a king bed, dresser, side tables and large closet and two comfortable queen sleep sofas in the main living room. There is also one single blowup bed available. The bathroom is off the living room area. Our adult guests renting need to be 25 or older. Due to apartment steps and nearby water access on the property, we ask that children are age 3 and over. (*Due to water access guests need to accompany their children when outside on our property.) The kitchenette includes utensils, dishes, glasses, a sink, a full size refrigerator with ice maker, full size microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a table that seats six. Coffee, tea and condiments are included. The apartment has internet and a 55" TV with ROKU. There is a washer and dryer available for guest use downstairs as well. The apartment is located on Perkins Creek in the town of Urbanna with access to the Rappahannock River. You are also welcome to bring your bikes to enjoy the fun and scenic places nearby. If you like to kayak, then this is the place to be as you explore all the nearby creeks and the Rappahanock River. Bring a chair down to the pier to enjoy the peaceful and scenic views of wildlife. The apartment is within walking distance or a quick drive to several restaurants in town, cute shops, Urbanna town marina, Bridge Marina (private marina) that have gas pumps on the water, and a historical walking tour. You can literally walk anywhere in our town. It’s a very friendly community where everyone will wave and say hello! Perfect for a weekend or a week getaway to enjoy biking, kayaking, putt-putt golf with ice cream shop in season, wineries in Lancaster, nearby museums that are dedicated to the history of the coastal Chesapeake Bay, golfing at nearby Piankatank Golf Course, National croquet course, and many other amenities. Guest access Guests can enjoy fishing and kayaking from our dock, a short walk behind the primary home. We are located on Perkins Creek (right off the Rappahannock River), where calm protected water offers great kayaking. The apartment includes free off-street parking for multiple vehicles. It is walking distance into town- about a half mile. There is a town marina that has a boat ramp to launch boats, kayaks, and canoes. Across from the town marina is a sandy beach where you can enjoy relaxing. It accessible by boat, canoe or kayak. Just remember to leave it like you found it! Wake Beach (county beach) is located 15 minutes away and is accessible by car and has parking. Other things to note Anywhere you travel in the area has adequate parking for your convenience. We have several local restaurants in the Urbanna area. We are only 20 minutes from Lancaster county across the Rappahannock River that has wineries, shopping and great restaurants. We are also located less than an hour from historical Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.
