Charming forest house with wood-burning stove & pizza oven

In this cozy vacation home with spacious enclosed forest garden, you will completely relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house has 3 bedrooms and everything you need for a nice stay. Even through the large windows you can see the birds and squirrels busy and when you step out the door you are in the middle of the nature reserve. The house has nice extras such as a wood stove, record player with LPs, toys, books and trampoline. You will receive all kinds of tips from us if you want to explore the area :-) The space Cozy forest cottage in Drenthe with large fenced garden and direct access to nature reserve This comfortable and detached nature cottage is in the middle of the greenery: perfect for peace seekers, nature lovers and families. Boshuisje Wateren I is located in the quiet Wateren (Drenthe) and directly adjacent to Drents-Friese Wold National Park — an extensive area with forests, heath and sand drifts. Hiking and biking can literally be done from the front door. Inside you will find a spacious living/dining room with dining table, a cozy sitting area by the wood stove with good views through the large windows onto the garden. In the large forest garden of about 1,500 m², birds and squirrels can be spotted regularly. The 3 bedrooms have comfortable beds for a wonderful night's sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of storage space and everything you need for self-catering. The bathroom has a shower, sink, towel radiator, large mirror and toilet. Blackout curtains and screens in the bedrooms provide extra comfort in every season. Outside, a forest garden with large terraces faces south and at the back of the garden, a covered gazebo, a dining table with chairs, lounge corner, BBQ with pizza oven and parasol. Here you can enjoy complete privacy, tranquility and the sound of nature. For the children a trampoline and play rack with swing and rings. And in the house lots of toys like lego (comic) books, a record player, a shuffleboard and lots board games. Whether you come for a romantic weekend, an active vacation or just to catch your breath: this forest cottage offers everything you need for a relaxing stay in nature. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire house and 2 barns Other things to note Charging a car is not included, this will be settled afterwards based on the used KWH. Please let us know in advance if you are going to load. Charging goes via 220V, it is not a faster charger 🛏️ Linen (bed, bath and kitchen linen) is not included. This way, we keep the price low for guests who prefer to bring their own linens. Would you like to have the linen taken care of? This can be done through our laundry service, which brings and picks up everything. The rate is €15 pp. Just let us know when you book, and we'll be happy to arrange it for you.
