Hillandale Hideaway - a modern cabin near Plett

The Hideaway at Hillandale is a modern and totally off grid cabin tucked away in the forest with complete privacy and spectacular forest and mountain views! Enjoy amazing birdlife, tranquility and beautiful walks. Feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but only 5 minutes to stunning beaches, 10 minutes from Plett , the Crags, Plett Winelands and a host of amazing wildlife places! With so much to keep you busy locally, it is a treat to come back to the Hideaway and feel away from it all! The space Hillandale is our family home. We bought the land with nothing on it in 2018 and have been developing it over the years. It is our little piece of heaven on earth and a dream come true for us! We are so grateful to share this beautiful place with people who enjoy nature as much as we do. We love that we have easy access to all we need and are close to the beach, yet we can feel completely away from it all! Guest access There is a pool up at the main house that guests are able to use. Our land is 19 hectares, most of which is indigenous forest. Guests are welcome to hike or ride all around. Other things to note All the houses on our land are completely off the grid. We use stored rain water for all water needs and solar energy for all electricity. This means no threat of load shedding, ever! We have 3 very friendly golden retrievers and 3 cats that roam our property freely. They do sometimes visit our guests. Please note, the Hideaway backs onto beautiful indigenous forest. This means there are insects, birds and sometimes other wildlife around. It is not an urban or hotel experience, but a proper escape to nature.
