The space On the slopes of Stromboli, one of the most fascinating volcanoes in the world, immersed in the Mediterranean Light, you will find Ginostra Dreaming! Without cars or scooters... Only your steps will lead you among the prickly pears of Ginostra! Its silence, the breathtaking beauty of its sunsets, its apparent "hardness" under which the sweetness of its sea hides, the mystery of its Volcano, the magic of its starry nights, the splendor of the reds, greens, and yellows that illuminate the black lava in spring, the enchantment of full moon nights, everything will make you feel "at home." Those who arrive in Ginostra immerse themselves in a dimension of life that has now been lost elsewhere. The backwash of the sea and the rustle of the wind on the vegetation are the only sounds... Ginostra is a small, enchanting seaside village that has remained absolutely intact. Accessible only by sea, it is located on the southwest side of the island of Stromboli, at the top of a hill that connects it with the port, adapted about ten years ago to allow the docking of ships and hydrofoils. In winter, Ginostra has only about thirty inhabitants, in summer tourists are welcomed in the ancient, typical pastel-colored Aeolian houses carefully restored by the inhabitants in recent years. From the harbor, a staircase leads to the square. Here the only two roads depart: one leads to the church and the upper part of the village, towards the Timpone del Fuoco, an extraordinary point of observation of volcanic eruptions, especially at night; the other road passes immediately in front of the "L'incontro" Restaurant and then heads towards Lazzaro, a suitable place for sunbathing and bathing... Ginostra is the wildest of the Aeolian archipelago and given the particular conformation of the land, there are no roads or carriageways and therefore also cars, scooters and bicycles are missing. To tackle the lava stone stairways, which climb everywhere, you rely on your own feet and the friendly donkeys. No nightclubs, pizzerias, cafeterias, breweries, boutiques, barbershops, sandwich shops and game rooms, only 2 bars, 3 restaurants, two grocery stores and handicrafts: but it is a lovely place to take refuge and savor a different vacation! Close your eyes and start... dreaming! The Ginostra Dreaming room is fresh and bright, furnished with wooden furniture in shades of blue. It has a private bathroom and a refrigerator. Guests have access to two shared kitchens on the ground floor with everything you need for cooking. From 9/15/2025 to 5/31/2026, bars and restaurants are closed! Guest access Guests will have free access to the shared kitchen and other common areas During your stay I live in the apartment on the ground floor of the house so I am available for any request and information! Other things to note IMPORTANT: CIN IT083041C2BA5P3AZ4 (casa luna rossa - ginostra dreaming room) 1) The price refers to the overnight stay only, without breakfast and daily cleaning. 2) We do not respond in case of adverse sea weather conditions and interruption of ferries and hydrofoils, or bad weather. In the event that the causes of the no-show for the scheduled day were adverse sea weather conditions and no public transport departing from Naples, Milazzo and/or the other islands were able to arrive on the island, we will refund the guest 50% of the night or nights in which they were unable to stay.
