Highlights include a spacious layout that sleeps 8, family-friendly, with three beds, two full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a 700-square-foot front covered deck. The deck hosts your a 6-person hot tub, propane grill, and seating for everyone! The space Perched between Waynesville and Asheville, this Canton home sits 1.8 miles off the highway and boasts 1,700 square feet of sparkling living space. Four-wheel drive isn't necessary either. In 2022 and 2023, this piece of heaven received renovations in the kitchen, bathrooms, and front deck! Imagine indulging your inner chef in the newly renovated and well-equipped kitchen and enjoying your guests wrapped around the custom-made dining room table that comfortably seats 8. Top off the perfect mountain adventurous day with after-dinner drinks beneath the spacious covered deck looking out over the mountains. Kids and adults will love the games, s’mores by the fire pit, and a soak in the private hot tub any time. LIVING AREA Make yourself at home in the welcoming living room, which features a sofa and loveseat, a comfy chaise lounge, a 65-inch TV, and a beautifully upgraded fireplace for ambiance and/or heat. Play a friendly board game, get creative with a coloring book, or get lost in one of the many books available. The front window is a wonderful place to settle in and stay awhile. It boasts amazing views, comfy seating for two, and character all of its own with a one-of-a-kind coffee table. KITCHEN & DINING Whip up delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, which has ample counter space and an array of helpful gadgets and cookware. Whether you desire to whip a pie or cook low and slow with a crockpot, you will be pleasantly surprised at all the kitchen offers. Some spices and pantry condiments are supplied for your convenience while at our home. You will also find plastic wrap, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, coffee filters, and cleaning supplies to make traveling easier. The kitchen and dining room were designed for home-cooked meals or late-night games around the dining room table, which seats eight. BED & BATH This raised ranch home sleeps 8 guests in three bedrooms, all with walk-in closets. The split plan features the master bedroom and bath on one side and two bedrooms and a full bath on the other. The kitchen, dining room, and living space are in the center of the home. Comfort awaits in the tranquil master suite, which has a comfy king bed, office nook, and newly renovated en-suite bathroom with a custom stand-up shower. In the master bedroom walk-in closet, you will find a pack-n-play, high chair, and stroller. The guest suite has a queen bed with the most amazing million-dollar views. The third whimsical bedroom is furnished with 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds and a walk-in closet. We highly recommend the upper twin beds be for children only. The second full bath is between the 2 bedrooms. It has been newly renovated and has a bathtub-shower combo. While staying at this peaceful getaway, you are welcome to use towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash supplied. We want your stay to be convenient and stress-free. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES Sip coffee in a rocking chair on your expansive front porch while listening to the free-flowing creek. Relax into a hammock swing for a good book or an afternoon nap, then share after-dinner drinks comfortably seated on your deck or around the fire pit. Rejuvenate with a soak in the salt watet hot tub and enjoy the mountain views. The deck hosts a 12-foot-long picnic table, ready for you to enjoy dinner and games with a front-row seat to the panoramic view of the mountainside. Grill all your favorites on a propane gas grill on the front deck. Reusable grill mats are provided for ease of use and clean-up. These amazing BBQ Grill Mats are a perfect non-stick barbecue solution! They are hand washable and dishwasher safe. They have a PFOA-free PTFE-Fiberglass coating, are safe up to 500F, and are FDA-approved. EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS Complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer are included. Please use ONLY the laundry pods and dryer balls that are supplied. We use microban/disinfectant products on every surface in between each guest so you can rest and relax completely. Guest access Parking is provided for 3 vehicles in the driveway, 2 cars below beside the basement, and 1 behind the house at the back door. Other things to note Situated 4 miles to the west of downtown Canton, this mountain-view retreat provides desirable proximity to scenic nearby waterfalls, hiking paths, and biking trails. Most adventures are within a 25-minute drive. We suggest Graveyard Fields, Chimney Rock, and of course the Biltmore Estate. A local favorite is our very own Canton located BearWaters Brewing Company along the Pigeon River. Outside and inside seating for amazing food, beverages, and small-town feel. Also located in Canton is the Pigeon River Outfitter’s! They can hook you up for all of your family water needs; kayaking, tubing, paddleboarding, and canoeing. Explore downtown Asheville, located just 20 miles away, and discover eclectic music halls, farm-fresh eateries, and fantastic breweries. Stop along the way to visit the historic Art District, quaint Black Mountain, or the Western North Carolina Nature Center.
