Guest access In a 60km radius one can enjoy archeological sites such as Vergina and Dion, also lesser known such as Dispilio, Aianh, Petres etc., as well as Byzantine churches of great interest. In the close vicinity there are 4 small lakes with a variety of birds, some extinct from other places. There is the possibility to make the tour of these lakes either on foot, bicycle or horse back. The wineries of the area produce some of the best wines of the country and are especially famous for the extra dry red wine, called "xinomavro". So, wine tasting is a must for the visitor.
