Seaside – Time out in a manor house on the Baltic Sea

Welcome to our small apartment "Seaside" in the tranquil Hohen Wieschendorf. In 2017, we fell in love with the apartment, renovated it with attention to detail, furnished it and equipped it with everything we want for ourselves on vacation (e.g. extensive kitchen equipment that makes cooking and eating fun). Since then, we are pleased to offer our guests a pleasant time in this special place within walking distance of the beautiful Baltic Sea. The space The apartment serves as the perfect starting point for a beach vacation, but also offers the perfect retreat for cozy hours outside the summer season. It is generously equipped for two people; for four people it is still cozy and comfortable. The spacious south-facing balcony of over 20 m² invites you to linger longer in fine weather. A dining table with four chairs is available, as well as a relaxing chair on which you can enjoy the sunset. The view from the balcony goes over meadows and fields to Hohenkirchen. In the living room, there is a large cozy couch, which offers two additional sleeping places on 2.0 m x 1.40 m (pillows and blankets are provided). A wing chair invites you to read and relax. TV (Samsung Smart TV 50 inch, 4K), Playstation 3 (two controllers and some games are available) and fast Wi-Fi access provide more entertainment options, even in bad weather. DVDs or Blu-Ray discs can be played on the Playstation and thus beautiful movie evenings can be enjoyed. In addition, some books and a game collection are available. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils. The possibilities for extensive cooking, baking and enjoyment are thus given. In addition to numerous cabinets, the kitchenette includes a stove with 4 hotplates (ceramic) and oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine (tabs and detergents are not provided). A refrigerator offers sufficient space for your own supply and is complemented by a medium-sized freezer unit. So nothing stands in the way of ice cream and ice-cold drinks in summer or the storage of frozen foods. The morning coffee enjoyment is optionally provided via a regular coffee machine (including thermos flask) or via a small Nespresso machine (please bring your own capsules or coffee and filters). Kettle and toaster are of course also provided. In addition, a microwave in the kitchen as well as an iron and ironing board (storage room) are available. The dining area is equipped with a solid wood table with four chairs, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and social evenings. Both the dining and living areas have blackout curtains that provide a restful sleep. Insect protection on the balcony doors also allows night ventilation without mosquitoes. The bedroom offers a cozy 1.80 x 2.00 m double bed with removable pillows at the head end, a spacious wardrobe with full-length mirror and two bedside tables with reading lamps. Direct access to the balcony through a double door offers plenty of fresh air and brightness. However, those who like it quiet and dark will appreciate the blackout curtains that promise restful sleep. The partially renovated bathroom offers a shower with sliding doors, a spacious cabinet for all kinds of beauty utensils and another shelf as a storage option. The towel radiator and the floor tiles in a modern wood look offer additional comfort. In short, a bathroom where you can feel comfortable. For small children we have a foldable travel bed on site (please bring your own mattress and cover) as well as a high chair. Sockets accessible to children are secured. Hohen Wieschendorf is located directly on the Baltic Sea on the Wismar Bay between Boltenhagen and Wismar. Both cities are about 15-20 minutes by car. The surroundings of the manor house impress with an attractive leisure offer: next to the natural beach, which can be reached on foot in approx. 10-15 minutes away, there is a small marina that is visited by sailors and offers an Italian restaurant and a café. Wismar Bay is very popular with wind and kite surfers. There is also a golf course in Hohen Wieschendorf (Golfclub Hohen Wieschendorf) with sea views from the green. The surrounding nature reserve and the picturesque Baltic Sea landscape invite you to extensive walks and bike rides. Bicycles can be brought and parked in the basement or rented nearby. With fresh sea air, you can simply relax and unwind here. Guest access The service package is mandatory and includes a laundry package (linen, 2 towels, 1 bath towel per person, bath mats, dish towels) and a starter package (toilet paper, kitchen paper, wipe, dishwasher tab) in addition to the final cleaning. The bed is already made, so the vacation can start immediately. We are available to our guests by phone or email before and during the vacation. The key handover takes place conveniently on site via a key safe.
