Seaside – Time out in a manor house on the Baltic Sea

Welcome to our small apartment "Seaside" in the tranquil Hohen Wieschendorf. In 2017, we fell in love with the apartment, renovated it with attention to detail, furnished it and equipped it with everything we wish for ourselves on vacation (e.g. extensive kitchen equipment that makes cooking and eating a pleasure). Since then, we have been happy to offer our guests a nice time in this special place within walking distance of the beautiful Baltic Sea. The space The apartment serves as the perfect starting point for a beach vacation, but also offers the perfect retreat for cozy hours outside the summer time. It is generously equipped for two people; for four people it is still cozy and comfortable. The spacious south-facing balcony with over 20 m² invites you to linger longer in fine weather. A dining table with four chairs is ready, as well as a relaxation chair where you can relax and enjoy the sunset. The view from the balcony goes over meadows and fields to Hohenkirchen. In the living room, a large cozy couch is waiting, which offers two more sleeping places at 2.0 m x 1.40 m (pillows and blankets are provided). A wing chair invites you to read and relax. TV (Samsung Smart TV 50 inches, 4K), Playstation 3 (two controllers as well as some games are available) and fast Wi-Fi access provide further entertainment options, even in bad weather. DVDs or Blu-ray discs can be played on the Playstation, so you can enjoy beautiful movie nights. There are also some books and a collection of games available. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils. The possibilities for extensive cooking, baking and enjoying are therefore given. In addition to numerous cabinets, the kitchenette includes a stove with 4 burners (ceramic) and oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine (tabs and detergent are not provided). A fridge offers enough space for your own supply and is complemented by a medium-sized freezer unit. This means that nothing stands in the way of ice and ice-cold drinks in summer or the storage of frozen food. The morning coffee enjoyment is optional via a regular coffee machine (incl. Thermos) or via a small Nespresso machine (please bring your own capsules or coffee and filter). Kettle and toaster are of course also available. In addition, a microwave is available in the kitchen as well as an iron and ironing board (storage room). The dining area is equipped with a solid wood table with four chairs where you can enjoy a delicious meal and social evenings. Both in the dining and living area there are blackout curtains that offer a good night's sleep. Insect protection on the balcony doors also allows night ventilation without mosquitoes. The bedroom offers a cozy 1.80 x 2.00 m double bed with removable pillows at the head end, a spacious closet with full-length mirror and two bedside tables with reading lamps. The direct access to the balcony through a double door offers plenty of fresh air and brightness. However, those who like it quiet and dark will appreciate the blackout curtains that promise a good night's sleep. The partially renovated bathroom offers a shower with sliding doors, a spacious closet for all kinds of beauty utensils as well as another shelf as a storage space. The towel radiator and the floor tiles in a modern wood look offer additional comfort. In short, a bathroom where you can feel comfortable. For small children, we have a foldable travel bed on site (please bring your own mattress and cover) as well as a high chair. Sockets accessible to children are secured. Hohen Wieschendorf is located directly on the Baltic Sea on the Wismar Bay between Boltenhagen and Wismar. Both cities can be reached in about 15-20 minutes by car. The surroundings of the manor house impress with an attractive leisure offer: next to the natural beach, which can be reached on foot in about 10-15 minutes, there is a small marina, which is visited by sailors and offers an Italian restaurant and a café. Wismar Bay is very popular with wind and kite surfers. In addition, there is a golf course (golf club Hohen Wieschendorf) in Hohen Wieschendorf with sea views of the greenery. The surrounding nature reserve and the picturesque Baltic Sea landscape invite you to take long walks and bike rides. Bikes can be brought and parked in the basement or rented in the nearby area. With fresh sea air, you can simply relax and unwind here. Guest access The service package is mandatory and includes, in addition to the final cleaning, a laundry package (linen, 2 towels, 1 shower towel per person, bath mat, dish towels) and a starter package (toilet paper, paper towels, wipe cloth, dishwasher tab). The bed is already made, so the vacation can start directly. We are available for our guests before and during the holiday by phone or e-mail. The keys are conveniently handed over on site via a key safe.
