Its a place of beauty with its humpback bridges and cobbled streets having a Rich history being named in the Doomsday book in 1086. At its heart is The Cross An ancient stone Monument in the Heart of the Village still vibrant and successful today surrounded by bars restaurants along side local Bakery ( Sextons ) & butchers (Hopkinsons ) as well as the big names like Boots & Sainsburys. Lymm Has the Bridgewater Canal running through its heart still bringing Canal trade to the village although mainly for leisure these days. Lymm is Loved by people who like Village life and enjoy walks around its Lake people love the walk up the Dingle ( a pathway with steps ) from the Lower Dam in the Village to The main attraction Lymm Dam lake . this walk is 2 miles and a hour or two depending on your speed it will bring you back to the Village and is loved by all for its Natural beauty. On Sundays from 11am there an Artisan Market ( at the Boat Stage Bridgewater St ) selling Sourdough loafs and other local Home made produce. Many of Lymms Pubs and Restaurants are open each day especially Sunday . Other things to note Getting into the property: Someone will meet the guest on location if they have not stayed previously. We only offer a meet and greet service for key collection. Photographic Identification must be shown on arrival, this is a free service between the times of 3pm - 5.30pm. Late check in outside of these hours will incur a £35 charge from 5.30pm - 8.00pm and £55.00 from 8.00pm - 10.00pm. The key is a suited security key, if lost a replacement will have to be ordered and a cost of £75.00 per key will be charged. A refundable damage deposit is payable prior to arrival of £150 for 2 guests or £250 for 3/4 guests. Age restriction of over 25 unless a child staying with a parent.
