This unique apartment in the former locomotive shed of an old train station, which has been freshly renovated, is stylish and cozy and awaits you. Located right on footpaths and bike paths, you will enjoy absolute peace and quiet here, with (almost) no neighbors. During the week, slow freight trains pass by three times a day. At weekends, there is no traffic – perfect for watching deer or foxes right by the railway embankment. Your exclusive nature experience! The space Unique train station loft: Spend your getaway in a lovingly converted, historic locomotive shed. The open-plan apartment offers plenty of space, a unique ambiance and amenities that leave nothing to be desired. Highlights at a glance: • Open-plan LIVING AND DINING AREA: Fully equipped kitchen, cozy bar counter and a large dining table for 6 people. • Cozy MEZZANINE: A comfortable double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) with shelves and a clothes rail in the attic. (Accessible via a narrow spiral staircase; please duck/be careful at the top of the stairs.) • FLEXIBLE SLEEPING SPACE: The large couch on the ground floor can be converted into an additional sleeping space (1.20 x 2.40 m). • All-inclusive SERVICE: Fresh linens and towels are included in the price – your beds are already made upon arrival! KITCHEN & Culinary • Fully equipped: Vinegar, oil, basic spices, a toaster, a blender and a milk frother are provided. • Love of coffee: Three different coffee machines for every type of preparation. • Sustainable: SodaStream available (our tap water has excellent drinking water quality). PATIO & GARDEN: • Sun deck: South-facing terrace with sunbeds, umbrella, and a gas grill. • Campfire romance: Large garden with a fire pit behind the oak tree (firewood is available from us on request). • Note: The garden is shared with the tenant of the Bahnhofswohnung. • Fantastic location Absolutely quiet at the end of a dead end road with no car traffic. Situated right on the edge of the forest and the perfect starting point for beautiful hikes. 🌿 NEW**SAUNA**: Your private wellness highlight in the countryside! From now on, a very special highlight awaits you on the terrace: our brand-new, traditional barrel sauna! After a long day of hiking or simply to unwind, you can relax here in total privacy. The scent of natural wood and the cozy warmth provide the perfect relaxation. Towels are of course provided for you – just go in, pour water on the hot stones, and enjoy! ✨ To keep the accommodation affordable for everyone, you only pay for the sauna with us if you actually use it. The flat fee is €15 for a 3-hour time slot. If you're in the mood for a wellness session, just send me a quick message, and I'll make the sauna available for the desired time slot. Enjoy relaxing! 🌿" Information for DOG owners: The garden is not completely fenced. But dogs are also welcome to run free. The neighbor's two cats are outdoor cats and reliably flee from dogs ;). ! New this summer! : Enjoy a special camping experience in our small, lovingly renovated camper. It is quietly located right in front of the apartment and is the perfect addition to your booking in the main house. The caravan is a real gem: small, nice and incredibly cozy. Perfect for one to two people looking for something special. It has a freshly made double bed, a small sitting area, lighting, an electrical outlet and heating for cooler nights. The shower and toilet in the engine house are shared. The charming caravan can only be booked together with a booking in the engine house for a small extra charge. Just ask. Guest access Access and check-in are done independently via a key box with a code. You will receive the information about this, along with directions, in a message the day before your arrival! So, by arrangement, you can arrive at any time, day or night. Other things to note ! New: ! EV charging station 100 meters away. Attention: Please do not leave cars parked there after charging! The electricity provider charges a "blocking fee" for this. We have no control over that.
